Lol 100 years is too far away and none of us may be alive anymore.

Here are my predictions for 2050:

Sri Lanka - developed economy
BD - middle-income
India - middle-income
Pakistan - 3rd world although not that far off being middle-income

Apart from Sri Lanka the rest of South Asia has major issues to sort out.

Bangladesh will be inside Bay of Bengal

The relative difference in power between Pakistan and India would not have changed much.

Yes Indian GDP would have grown faster BUT Pakistan would still have access to advanced weapons from China at relatively low prices.

Also BD's military would finally have caught up with it's new-found economic strength and so India would have to also take into account BD military capabilities.

Would it evolve into a peaceful societies who have moved away from tribal mentality and be developed and wealthy.

Or a constant war like scenario where spymasters are playing games with each other?

The planet is running out of resources and for such a large number of people to reach developed status would require many technological breakthroughs, especially in energy generation.

Bangladesh is performing well ....I am very much optimistic that BD can be in the upper middle income category if not high income

India is already in the middle income category....We will be in the upper middle income by 2030 and high income by 2040
