It does not matter whether Gilgit-Baltistan will leave Pakistan or not. Pakistan has already made a part of it leave and join China. With China expanding it's influence more strongly than ever in the region, there is a high possibility such things can happen again. Afterall, Pakistan has only card to play right now and that is China. Appeasement is the word.
Dude, come on....
I have no doubts about your campaigning skills or the nationalism of the political parties that you have quoted. My post was particularly about Indian Kashmir.
Also, things may turn out very very differently, if people get to choose. A common man will choose better opportunities.
Tell me, what Pakistan has to offer to a Kashmiri ?
To be honest with you, Pakistanis in general, from other parts have a huge amount of respect for Giltis and Kashmiris because of the sacrifices they have made. We need not to show our patriotism, but in Kargil and other war many brave soldiers came from Gilgit, Lalik Jan, main role in kargil was that of NLI, which is a local force, comprises of local people. I was told this, by a very reliable source that, majority, more than majority of people in AJK and GB is associated with PA, i have a huge family, many in father side and mother side are a part of PA. There isn't a question ever raised on our patriotism. In fact wherever i go, as soon as people find out i am a Gilgiti, they seem to just like automatically like me and are super hospitable. Only displaying back what they might have experienced once. This is the truth, people are die-hard Pro-Pakistanis, especially in AJK and GB.

I'm talking about facts other than just patriotism. Patriotism towards the nation was neither built in a day, nor it was there for ever. I am talking about other things, that affect life much more directly, like job opportunities, income strata, public services, political integration.

Job opportunities are a lot, for higher education many Gilgitis make way for major cities like Karachi, Lahore, same as elsewhere in the world. Once finished education there they get jobs and etc, etc... there are many Gilgiti communities spread out in many cities. socially Gilgitis in comparison are doing very well, now those who are in Gilgit, i will start from a place i know very well, Hunza, the locals get a huge number of tourist every year, local industries selling local garments, precious stones, carving and etc, etc.. same goes for other parts of Gilgit, like Gilgit city, same scenario. You would be surprised to know, i read somewhere that in Bhutto era and following on to Zia-ul-Haq's era unemployment rate was zero in Gilgit, it isn't zero now, yes. But overall CPEC going through, other infrastructure work, all in all making more jobs for the locals. Like for example, i have myself witnessed many Chinese engineers who are making a certain road or a tunnel, they usually coordinate the work, many people, especially Indians confuse that Chinese workers will work on certain project etc, etc. Then there is a huge crop industry, fruits, vegetables, all the delicious stuff except Mangoes and bananas from Pakistan, come from that part of the country. I would say all in all job opportunities are many, then there is a route many Gilgitis take, joining PA. I have many educated cousins who are a part of PA. All in all doing quite well. Socially and economically. Literacy rate is quite good too. Then there are some parts which act like a role model for the rest of the country: Hunza Valley: Pakistan's 'real Shangri-La' is a world free from militant Islamists, poverty, pollution and a lacklustre education system - Asia - World - The Independent
watch this: Education In The Mountains
all in all doing quite well, article and video speaks for itself, much more like these.
public services
Well, we have bus services going to Gilgit and other parts many times, every day. Within major cities like Skardu and Giglit, they have small vans sort-of operating in the city.
political integration.
Political status is quite well know, won't elaborate, i am lazy and tired.

As we all know that china is our neighbor because of gilgit baltistan. what if after few year India and Pakistan agrees to accept the decision of kashmiri people and in referendum both sides of Kashmir and they chooses to be a country of their own.internationally gilgit baltistan is also considered a disputed territory and part of Kashmir so we will be forced to held referendum there too.what if they also chooses to be the part of a new country called Kashmir and after that what will happen to cpec as we will lose china as our neighbor and there will be no land connection between us.
i believe that kashmiris favor Pakistan and the result would be greater Pakistan...........
i am Kashmiri and my vote is for Pakistan........

An independent Kashmir won't happen. The only place where people support independence is Kashmir Valley, which is much too small. But the valley people will accept Pakistan if it is imposed on them.. But they won't ever accept India.
