Nothing will happen, the land routes would go through Kashmir in that case. The main point is that Gawadar Port is in Pakistan and eventually everything has to go through it.

Won't happen, first of GB will never leave Pakistan. Gilgit is very pro-Pakistan, considering their got liberated on their own and joined Pakistan. As a Gilgiti i can say, no way in hell will Gilgit-Baltistan ever choose to be a separate country. In fact majority wants Pakistani government to make it a province, by majority i mean the nationalist parties and the locals themselves. Same goes for AJK, in fact majority, much more than majority is associated with PA.
And i hope i am not wrong, but both India and Pakistan have taken out this option of independent country.

No matter which way you put, whole region is the beneficiary of the project. Its good for China, its good for regions from where this trade route is passing and its good for Pakistan and countries around. If Kashmir is liberated and I pray it is librated from Indian hands then at most Kashmir would add a tax for their region. What else are you afraid of? Kashmiris are ours.. they belong to us as we belong to them.

i am afraid that what if they decided to leave us and found a country of their own we will lose big chunk of land and land connection to china. being a province of country is one thing but being another country is other that part of land wont be called pakistan but kashmir and they will have their own goals and interests. they will care for their interests not ours (as any country should do) they can twist our arms if they like and deny us access to china and India will be very happy to provide them a rout to their ports.(someone has to be the devils advocate)

As we all know that china is our neighbor because of gilgit baltistan. what if after few year India and Pakistan agrees to accept the decision of kashmiri people and in referendum both sides of Kashmir and they chooses to be a country of their own.internationally gilgit baltistan is also considered a disputed territory and part of Kashmir so we will be forced to held referendum there too.what if they also chooses to be the part of a new country called Kashmir and after that what will happen to cpec as we will lose china as our neighbor and there will be no land connection between us.

Bengalis were the also one who fought for Pakistan but things changed soon. Pakistan Government should take care of issues of people residing in AJK & GB. Don't take your enemy and his intentions lightly. One more example is demand of Khalistan. Sikhs were with India during partition but see how things turned later on.

India has nothing to do with it. On Pakistan's insistence the clause of 'Independent Country' was removed from UN resolutions.
