No one thinks Pakistan is just going to sit idle and watch its soldiers being captured. If India captures one or two Pakistani soldiers, Pakistan's response will be to capture a couple of more Indian soldiers in return.

Both countries need to ask themselves some basic questions, is this how they are going to live forever as neighbors? The need of the hour is to cut down the rhetoric coming from both sides and find solutions for peace. Pakistan is not going anywhere and is here to stay, and so is India.

As per Pakistani media he was captured trying to cross the Loc with that team whose all members were neutralized and he told that there were no orders to attack on the so called terrorist camps! His goal was to attack Pakistani base. So i feel for him.. poor soul will rot in Adiala jail for rest of his life..

b. Propaganda must diminish anxiety (other than concerning the consequences of defeat) which is too high and which cannot be reduced by people themselves

What i fail to understand is..why are we not officially claiming capture of indian soldier? Ispr has given all the time in this world to indian media to give this capture, a spin of their choice.... Indian media claims tht he inadvertently crossed the border, which ofcourse cant be possible in this scenario, esp with weapons... Had ispr, owned and claimed officially earlier, before, indian media and ministers came up with its own spin, wouldnt it have been much better? Ispr shd have officially claimed tht we have captured ur soldier, during so called surgical strike..to expose their lies...then indian govt and media would have had a harder time to give it the spin.... But since our channels leaked it, quoting military 'sources' and nothing official from ispr, regd capture, indian media and their govt chose to spin it as they wanted... India have successfully brought Pakistan from raising Kashmir issue and Indian involvement in Balochistan to trying to prove that surgical strikes happened or not. Our authorities (civil and military alike) failed miserably in this psychological war, but again when they couldn't even capitalize kalbushan than how we can expect that they will out perform in countering this clever move?

I think something happened and the army does not want to disclose it to the public. I don't think they care about face saving for India so it must be something else.

Indian response is dumb. A soldier crossed the border "by mistake" on the exact same day their government claims to have conducted a surgical strike in Pakistan. That is just plain stupidity.

Magar Bajwa Sahab kahan hain?? I mean why wouldn't he do a press conference now? This is the time we need to hear from him more than ever.
