It would look like both side losing there love ones for just lands and for elites agendas that they fool around.

destroying beautiful landscapes both countries have to offer along with wild nature,

A quick victory over Pakistan will be of no use if Pakistan is able to rebuild it's Army within 5 years.
The next war must be decisive.
We must go for a total destruction of our enemy forces.

Anyways I remember that many Western analysts said the same thing in 2009 that is India didn't go to War with Pakistan after 26/11 as India felt that if the War stretches for more than 2 weeks large sections of Pakistan military will be destroyed completely forcing Pakistan to go nuclear.

and God willing it will be decisive with total destruction of our enemy, by the way dont trust western analyst about nuclear time table

one kiloton explosion : -

effected explosion area is 1/3rd of mile + Fallout effect extended to 1 square mile

For 10 kiloton explosion

explosion area 2/3rd of a mile + Fallout effect about 10 square miles

an assumption that both neigbours uses their entire nuclear arsenal against each other

Let us assume india and pakistan has 200 kiloton ready material

Target cities in Pakistan

it comes to roughly about 1622 persons per square miles take both the explosion and fallout effect...95% people will succumb......1540 people will be evaporated......in pakistan.....

so vis s vis comparing both pakistan and india with a 200 kiloton warhead........for every 5 pakistani 1 indian will evaporate.....

it means...taking on pro-rata basis if india has a population currently to be 1,147,995,904 it means if we divide it by 5...the population of pakistan mathematically should be currently 229599181........but presently as per July 2008 census it is 172,800,048 which is a shortfall of 56799133 people.....

so in the worst case scenario..that is second strike capabilites of both the countries......india can evaporate pakistan 5 times before every indian evaporates ........mathematically it comes out India will win the Nuclear war .........................

solution for pakistan to win the nuclear war...to build atleat 5 times the nuclear warhead that india has at any given point of time ..........which i believe pakistan is doing right now or on this track....logically........however....we are not comparing any damages that has already occured pre-emptively because of the use of conventional weapons...before this scenario of nuclear war is taking place in both the countries........

For india the solution is to damage as much as possible through conventional weapons before nuclear war is started....that is logically what india is doing right now.... both countries are on the right track.....

The only thing to be considered is that how much are both countries willing to lose in the war over a piece of land. Pakistanis being maniacs enough will try to touch the nerve of india from time to time and keep playing the nuclear card without realizing that any such step will guarantee them unacceptable destruction plus the world's sanctions against it and also the danger of getting exposed to the radiation.

Pakistanis being stupid enough(too stupid to be called naive) keep on threating india with nuclear strike without imagining the destruction they will face in turn. And general population is also stupid just like there ruling elite and army who keep on endorsing their views and thump their chest. I bet no pakistani wants to lose a loved one or want their children to live in a radioactive environment(think about the generations of japanese who still reproduce children with genetic disorder), Yet most of the pakistanis want a nuclear war over a piece of land.

The only solution is to realize the current ground realities and make line of control as the international border.

I am sorry I disagree with you. All of India's major cities would be well within the target zone. When the ranges and platforms are available, a morning or an evening stroll in Calcutta may not be without worry.

India has about 54-55 cities with population of a million and above. A few bricks can be thrown at all these cities without a major problem.

Come this time, war with Pakistan will not be limited to only western India.

This is going to be an assured probability.

You are describing the situation 2-3 years back but now every thing is changed.U.S officials used to tie up indian presence with different strings who had further connections with pakistan but now they dont.

There are other ways to go A-stan,one is russia and second is iran.

The military Industrial complex in Pakistan works very well for India. Our policy makers know that the weapons are deterrance only, they can not achieve anything else. The real achievements are someplace else.
