Yes, their descendants live in India after they were assimilated as Hindus through intermarriages. Some believe Jats and Rajputs are descendants of Scythians while Gujjars are descendants of Kushans.

Can be possible as genetic studies confirms large amount of Eurasian ancestry among South Indians similar to North Indians. Scythians were Iranic people different from Persians.

I am just curious to know the culture of these ancient peoples .that all.Most of the wikipedia's info seems like a legend ,cant see strong scientific bases.

what is the difference between Scythians and Persians.?
No reliable information cant found from internet about the origin of Nair people in Kerala.Some articles says they are from Nepal and some other says they are Indo-Scythians,But the facial features of Nairs and Nepalese are quite diffferent.But Indo-Scythians pure descendants can be found from Punjab and its area.like you mentioned jats ,rajputs etc

Persians practised Zoroastrianism which is monotheist but Scythians were polytheist.

scythians were most probably a multi racial sub siberian tribal confederation stretching from ukrain to the pamir region. they r famous for building kurugans, burial mounds found all along this region. Have doubts whether jats and rajputs are their descendants since there has been minimal gene flow into the subcontinent since last few milinias.

I read somewhere that Scythians and Gujars mixed to create Jat and Rajput while pure Scythians became the Pashtun people.
