Okie but chahbar will only carry 200 k toms of load while gawader will 20k so u will still need gawader as Iranians know this well so they still want to be part of cpecIt might cost us marginally more (remember sea transportation is the cheapest form of transportation) in terms of cross platform movement of goods at Chabahar i.e from dock to rail. But that is par for the course. Particularly as India is a big country that goods will be exported to Chabahar right from Bengal(East India) to Andra pradesh (South) as well as Gujarat (West).
A marginal increase in costs won't make a big difference.
It does not affect us what Iran and Pakistan work out with CPEC. The port of Chahbahar is being built. Iran is also connecting Chahbahar with the Russian led pan-Central Asian transport corridor called North-South Corridor also along with India(infact India exported part of the steel rails required for laying down the rail road).
So our routes will continue to work regardless of CPEC or no CPEC or Iran joining CPEC or Iran abstaining from CPEC.
All that has no bearing on us.
