What is India's true goal in Balochistan long-term?

You can't even safely play cricket without the risk of terrorism being brought up.
Pakistanis have failed to understand balochistan w.r.t sports.
It's football not cricket the game of that province..
Yet we are making one cricket stadium after another there or should I say imposing cricket..

brother sports is sports, i can assure you the issue behind terrorism here is not due to cricket being played over football

impose bolna chor de khuda ka wasta hai, ab time ya context nay hai :disagree:

Facts! But nuclear weapons can keep Indian at bay in any crucial internal situation, unlike Bangladesh where that wasn't possible.

(But governance competency and solution will always be the same. You need strong governance.)

These angrez wannabes are nothing but a curse.

Not really
India tested that theory in 2019
Pakistan won't use nukes

There is an escalation ladder and threshold

Why should Pakistan go nuclear when it can retaliate conventionally within its means?

Nukes are a lost resort strategic weapon, and if the Indian army is using it's conventional gap advantage which could lead to loss of territory by insurgents, then that could invoke the nuclear threshold

If civil war breaks up nukes won't work.
It will work if it's regular war.

While terrorism is going on in many areas of Pakistan, our L chief is busy on his honeymoon period in the UK.
Can anyone explain what was so fuckin urgent for him to travel for 5 days on national exchequer when country is struggling with payment imbalances, containers are stuck on ports, terrorism has again started surging on top of all the political BS going on.

What is India's true goal in Balochistan long-term?

In my opinion, the Indian game plan with Balochistan primarily is to keep an insurgency sustained for as long as possible with the goal of destablising and preventing any prospect of economic development, infrastructural development, FDI and internal investment, bad reputation, and no peace. You can't even safely play cricket without the risk of terrorism being brought up. Pakistan is essentially being strangled by India, and struggling to fight its way out.

Anything more than the above, like seccession, to them I think is simply a bonus but not a primary goal, to genuinely break it would require more severe efforts in other domains. For example they have begun trying to raise it to a diplomatic and social level given the recent documentaries which could point towards this.

We must admit they have been very successful with the above. Because they have actual functioning national instituions with competent, skilled, qualified and loyal individuals. They prioritise meritocracy with a strong system of accountability.

One method to achieve their seccessionist goals is to incite a nation-wide civil war, then India initates a war against the army, whole of Pakistan would cease to exist at the end of it. The only real thing which prevents this from happening is the existence of our nuclear weapons arsenal, I think India will 100% try to denuclearise Pakistan if it seeks to do this and it could be coming soon.

We can expect in the coming near years more co-operation between India and Afghanistan too, using TTP or perhaps a newly branded movement. The future does not look good.

There's other players in it too.

Iran also has its stake in it. I don't think Balochistan will ever be independent but I do think its a way of pressuring and strangling Pakistan.

Again Pakistan has been through similer situation if not worse. 2008 the height of the terrorst bombings occurred every other day, insurgency in Balochestan, war in Swat and 2010 floods.
It was never ending. Things got better because the millitery took action.
under Bajwa the army became embroiled in politics and couldn't give a rats *** about the increasing instability.

Do you consider india to be an angel?
Compared to certain country we are 😇.

This thread is not to discuss with Indians whether they are involved or not, or to what extent. Don't derrail the thread.

India doesn't care about its reputation so lets cut this bullshit clown act, if you did you wouldn't be openly abusing and denying the rights to muslims within your country as well as in Kashmir.

neither would your prime minister be Modi.

We are first one to help turkey when the earth quake hit. We see humanity first.

For genuine secessionist goals to be achieved, it would require military intervention to hold back the Pakistan Army in any case to allow separatists to maneuver and make their move more easily/successfully, as seen in Bangladesh.

With India's massive conventional gap, it would be easy for India to overwhelm Pakistan to achieve this. Especially by routing the PAF towards India's focus meaning less focus on separatists.

So you're right, the true key here is the nuclear weapon deterrence where if the situation becomes too unmanageable, Pakistan can threaten nuclear retaliation, allowing itself to take control of the internal situation once India backs off.

So 100% our nuclear weapons are one of the main keys for safeguarding Pakistan's national interests and retaining its territorial integrity. They must never be surrendered no matter what.
After what has happened to Ukraine don't think anyone would be foolish enough to think about giving up Nuclear weapons.

8x smaller Pakistan is pacifist on the defensive. A smaller country is fighting on the defensive! This is Pakistan’s biggest mistake. Pakistan CANNOT match India conventionally NOR can it afford to be on the defensive for long before a very large conventional gap takes place between the two.
As a 8x smaller country, Pakistan should be on the offensive. Be offensive so you can defend you country. Fight this war in enemy territory so their resources get drained and their army is spread thin. Keep them fighting them self so despite being 8x bigger population, they can’t even be 1.5x your power.
Right now india is breaking Pakistan with “a thousand cuts”.
The best defence is offence.
Make Indians fight a deadly insurgency in Eastern inda far from your borders and Kashmir. Make Kashmir into hell for Indians. Exploit every tiny fault line in india and make them fight each other.
Even if it goes horribly wrong it’s still good. Even if they go rouge at least it will be inside india far from our border and them killing each other.
Our pacifism has allowed india to bring to war to Balochistan, Sindh and KP. Indians already gearing up to spread that into GB and AJK.

Indians will do what they can in Baluchistan because for as long as the Kashmir issue is alive, they need a way to distract and hurt Pakistan. However, Baluchistan and FATA/KP are not East Pakistan.
It’s sad Pakistan lets it self get bullied by india like this and doesn’t respond in kind. India has much much more fault lines Pakistan can exploit easily and with fewer resources can make india taste hell.

Seeing the way Paksiatn is scoring self goals, India doesn’t need to waste it’s efforts, time and money. Indian goal should be to not allow these to spill over into India.

What is happening in Paksiatn was predicted by quite a few international experts when Paksiatn was creating these non-state actors as a tool to further it causes. It never did due diligence about - what if these groups splinter or go rogue? Paksiatn has never done proper planning while making these moves. Few generals and politicians probably sit over a cup of tea and decide about these important policy issues. Few times it was done by dictators like Zia who fathered most of these groups or Musharraf who too played a role in creating and propagating some of them.

Blaming India now seems to be the easiest option rather than doing some self introspection.

Those suggesting encouraging terrorism in India should be a little careful. FATF grey and black list isn’t too far back to be forgotten so fast. World has become a little less tolerant to these activities.

With India’s clout increasing in international arena, any attempt to stoke fire in India may invite disproportionate response.

Yes but i'm referring to a latest blast which happened in Quetta during a cricket match.

It happened a few kilometers away from the stadium

And BLA wasn't behind it. It was TTP

OP should pose the question to @Imran Khan who has openly spoken of his desire to migrate to Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan if they become independent.

His motivation stem from w.r.t to Balochistan to live with his extended Seraiki tribe and for Gilgit-Baltistan, the liberal and beautiful scenery.

For similar questions on FATA and KPK, please refer to Dalit, Mirzali Khan and Zia ul Islam.

Question is, what are we doing to stop India ? India already bought GHQ in Koriyon ke dam, they are using our own Army against us and Mashallah our Army is turning out to be worse than IA and IDF.
