What's new

What is India's true goal in Balochistan long-term?

Yeah @AlKardai

This news about our drone strikes targeting terrorist infrastructure is not a W, it's actually an L.
We cheer them on, because it's one step at a time, or so it seems.
We fight with the hope that one day, we won't have to. That's our entire game plan right now.
In the mean time, nothing economical gets done.
Therefore, the indian game plan is to keep the conflict that keeps us busy, going for as long as possible
While India focuses on its economy with relative peace, we are fighting battles just to bring stability

So much time being wasted, that should be spent on precious development, investment being missed out on, infrastructure development being missed out on, etc.
This fact in itself is proof that the Hybrid war is very real, and that India is indeed winning.

I'm really tired and frustrated of saying the same things over and over, but I feel like it's necessary. The more times it is said, the higher the chance that it is understood and acted upon.

Okay so you agree, but just in a salty Pajeet manner. Good to know
haha, yeah. kind of. conventional war is hare-brained, nukes or not—India isn't clamouring to denuke Pakistan to make it easier to jump into a distracting conventional war without worry. that would be quite stupid . more than just a "bonus", the Pakistani army and Pakistan itself collapsing under its own weight through is likely the end goal of all this. 5th generation, hybrid warfare to its natural conclusion, which would be more just low-intensity insurgency.

Yes but i'm referring to a latest blast which happened in Quetta during a cricket match. You can find Indian news channels and comments celebrating on YouTube...
These swines celebrated during the recent police attack in Peshawar, the school massacre in 2014, every potential attack these Hindutva brainwashed pigs celebrate. I wouldnt be surprised if they celebrated the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
Pakistan will not retaliate which gives them more confidence.
There was a recent disturbances in a British city whereby Hindutva gangs went on a rampage attacking local muslims and chanting anti Pakistan slogans. Only when Pakistani youths retaliated with vengeance it shook the Hindutva gangs to their core and they backed off in panic.
Pakistani security establishment need to counter these attacks. Until then more innocent Pakistanis will die and it will continue to be a comedy show for the Hindutva. Maybe indians need to start burning their dead across the Ganga for reality to hit them.

It would give India solace at the very least knowing it has the option available to explore which nukes currently make it unviable. and especially just in general knowing your enemy neighbour is not nuclear.

The army discussion is irrelevant for this thread though - countless threads open for that...

For genuine secessionist goals to be achieved, it would require military intervention to hold back the Pakistan Army in any case to allow separatists to maneuver and make their move more easily/successfully, as seen in Bangladesh.

With India's massive conventional gap, it would be easy for India to overwhelm Pakistan to achieve this. Especially by routing the PAF towards India's focus meaning less focus on separatists.

So you're right, the true key here is the nuclear weapon deterrence where if the situation becomes too unmanageable, Pakistan can threaten nuclear retaliation, allowing itself to take control of the internal situation once India backs off.

So 100% our nuclear weapons are one of the main keys for safeguarding Pakistan's national interests and retaining its territorial integrity. They must never be surrendered no matter what.
Very easy ..if you read quadrat ullah shahab book.
All it need to do is make Pakistan leadership duffers like it did 1971 and like it has successfully has done now

Get them addicted to west, wine, batmans, gulf clubs and properties

A army of lions is useless of it's core is made of duffers ..and that's what army is right now..a core of duffers

Facts! But nuclear weapons can keep Indian at bay in any crucial internal situation, unlike Bangladesh where that wasn't possible.

(But governance competency and solution will always be the same. You need strong governance.)

These angrez wannabes are nothing but a curse.

Indians or any foreign actors are not responsible for Baluchistan or any other secessionist/separatist movements. They may have contributed to the situation but they can never succeed if there is cohesion and unity within the nation. You have to look inside your country for the source of the problem, address any grievances these people have and chart a course of inclusive development for all people of the country. You will then see all these movements evaporating in air.

Agreed, but exploiting and amplifying the situation is the point here

Watch this

They have been before
Continually, not pick out foot soldiers. Need to hit bases and training camps. However the establishment has zero will to see an end to this conflict. It will continue for the foreseeable future.

He says your argument straight up and clearly, the only real goal then was to raise the level of insurgency to disrupt economic and infrastructure development, especially CPEC

Even talks of finding suitable places for landings for the Navy along the makran coast lol

Which emphasises my point of why nuclear weapons are a strict neccessity. You can't try to overwhelm the Pakistan military in hopes of supporting and allowing insurgents to operate freely if you risk your own country being nuked in retaliation lol

It prevents the Bangladesh scenario

Well true, I wasn't denying it. But those efforts can do so much and will never succeed if the nation is cohesive and united and all citizens get equal treatment, opportunities etc. Honestly, Pakistan should concentrate 99% of it's efforts to right the wrongs done on these people since there seems to be grievances. If that is taken care of, Indians or any other foreign actors can be handled very easily, even the police force will be enough to handle them. Go to the root cause of the disease, don't treat the symptoms of the disease; Pakistan IMHO is currently managing the symptoms of the disease.

No chance of Pak "denuclearizing" anytime soon iA. We need to discard this thinking entirely.

We ate grass to get it, you think a single person will give this capability up now?

Indians will do what they can in Baluchistan because for as long as the Kashmir issue is alive, they need a way to distract and hurt Pakistan. However, Baluchistan and FATA/KP are not East Pakistan.
