PNS mehran issue has been dealt by Armed forces in a very negative way! Everything should have been transparent and should have created a morale restoring effect on the Pakistani people, rather, it is creating a sense of incompetence of armed forces! The general security of Mehran base has never been tight enough to evade such an intrusion. The question is now how the armed forces are going to shed this defeat from there minds! It is true that the west is going to sell it for Nuclear safety issue in Pakistan but what Pakistan GOV and Armed forces are going to do in order to react to such statements.

Our nuclear assets are safe, that we say and believe but what has happened has created a point in mind which thinks otherwise! How armed forces are going to deal with it will show in near future. The time is right to tell US to get the hell out of Pakistan land and curb all the Security personal of US aka CIA from Pakistan and start strengthening intelligence within the country. I am certain that it is more an intelligence lapse than security of premises which lead to Mehran base issue. GOD knows what MI, FIA and IB are doing right now in Pakistan! Secondly what if this is another attack from within? Accepted that the beneficiary is India in this case, we can not exclude an inside Job also!

in simple words i can say .there is no security or control on pakistan . we have no hopes from forces or gov. and we hope we get out of this nuke mess . rather then nukes defend us we are defending nukes since last 30 years .

Capturing the nukes through a Geronimo type operation is not possible. If at all there is any incident of terror outfits gaining access to enriched uranium or other material to make a dirty bomb, the US and its allies (the real ones) will use the UNSC/ IAEA to send inspectors to all nuclear sites within Pakistan to seize the weapons. Pakistan will be forced to cooperate else face sanctions, sign NPT/CTBT or even war. The naval base attack and other terror attacks on Pakistani military facilities will be used to make the case stronger that Pakistan is incapable of protecting its arsenal from terrorists. The statements from Obama and NATO chief makes one believe that they already know where the nukes are located, and that they are watching very closely.

No one can attack and force Pakistan to lay down its nuclear arsenal on any level neither they will succeed in these policies which they plan to make the world think that Pakistani nukes are going to go in Al Qaeda hands. If a day like that comes Pakistan will Retaliate with all We HAVE and that is a lot of A bombs!

yep first they will send TTP as mehran and then attack as you say .we all know this .its the time if pakistan need nukes secure 20km area around every nuke facility . but seems its impossible now .game is ready and pakistani top in gov and forces will be fooled again soon .lets see.

This will be a big and complex operation.

Musharraf admitted that US is constantly spying on Pakistani strategic assets. Time and again, we get hints about a contingency plan in case of nuclear related debacle in Pakistan.

We can only speculate on this subject. However, underestimating US after some recent events would be suicidal.
