Pakistanis were hooked on subsidized stuff and govt freebies.. PMLN and other political mafia has been kicking foreign loan can down the Road for so long. IK tried to fix that, and everybody started screaming. People just don’t want to pay the fair share to enjoy luxuries they own.

Besides the fact they have decided to put our relationship with International partners at stake and have a short term vision of winning the election at all costs. The Americans, despite the fact some Pakistanis dislike their past, are still the superpower and our biggest ally in trade. It will be a challenge To make Every partner your enemy And start The pleasing Process after Coming into power.

I think PTI is the only major political party that did not have an economic team and borrowed Finance ministers from other parties. The likes of Hafeez Sheikh and Shaukat Tareen had worked for PPP, and the economic policies of Asad Umar were rated so bad by Imran Khan that he was compelled to resign after 10 months

I think we need National Reconciliation Policy for economic reforms like Shehbaz Sharif had suggested, but Imran Khan was too arrogant to speak to him; if we are ever going to thrive, we need consistency, and for that, we need continuity in policies regardless of which Government is in power. That's the only way forward if we want to improve our economy

Edit: We need economic policies for 5 years, 10 years, 20 years and 50 years with clear goals and ensure every Government adheres to this vision otherwise whether it's PTI or Donkey league it doesn't really matter

I have had Relatives land in Pakistan just fine at Islamabad Airport.
Terrorism was very low under IKs Gov. Way Lower than NSs or SSs. Loadshedding in Islamabad was pretty high in Islamabad The Capital under NSs Tenure as well as the starting of IKs, they eventually got better in 2019 and 24/7 electricity in 2020 (Even AJK), i was in Ajk this eid, spent 3 months last year and only a week's stay there were more consistent Loadshedding

WIth enough power/vote, IK must chnage the laws which bar the corrupt politicians going free. Like solving the cases within 3 months and must within 6 months. At lest confiscate what property that corrupt people have accumulated here.

WIth UAE being in FATF, convince UAE to give back looted money from Sind and Balochistan. Then Austarity measures, increase luxury tax like on cigerrates, and imported shampos and stuff.

The inflation in some cases is just artificial like in poultry. A crackdown on some industries like floor mills and Sugar mills will help. The mineral oil can be bought from Russia. With new US govt, convince them to use oil from Iran. @Norwegian Can you give listed suggestion under diffferent headings.?

Imran may not be able to sort out all the problems but at least country will be put on the right course which will lead to the better Pakistan in the future. How long China took to achieve better living of standards thanks to their relentless efforts?
Be honest to yourself do we really see any thing good coming out under the Chor's rule? The best thing Imran can do is to find some good people around him who can carry Pakistan forward now and in the future.
