Beautiful, clean, green and calm but one thing that irritated me was I had discussion with locals there and one told me that likes of me (Afghans) are here to fight the Indian government under some mujahideen organization.

Goa was full of fun the Club Cabana was really great for after beach party! especially on Wednesday nights

I suggest you to be safe there and take precautions. Delhi is, unfortunately, not among our safest cities, like Mumbai or Kolkata.

I meant Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh , and yah we are more of verbal than physical. in our region there is a saying too " latth se to admi ko koi bhi maar sakta hai, baat se maar ke btao to jane" which translates to " anyone can kill a man with a stick, killing him with words is the supreme skill".

I have been to, but I only saw verbal encounters only for 10s of minutes but not anything physical that's a good thing though

I have been to N.Delhi, Kashmir, Shimla, Agra, Mumbai, Goa, Surathkal, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Silchar.

But not Kolkata or Darjeeling??That's sad.

No not Kolkata but I bought a Kolkata made saari for my fiancee from old Delhi.

That was true in the past,through out the 90s.But it ain't the case anymore as far as I've heard from buds in the army.Now the majority of the so called 'freedom fighters' are of Punjabi stock.

No not Kolkata but I bought a Kolkata made saari for my fiancee from old Delhi.

Come visit it sometimes in future,when you can manage some time.And if not kolkata,then at least Darjeeling,good place,good people and good scenery too.

He told me that in 2011 when I was there, never verified that though.

Come visit it sometimes in future,when you can manage some time.And if not kolkata,then at least Darjeeling,good place,good people and good scenery too.

Sure I will be coming to India this December.

I meet lot of Iranians and Tajikistanis there and Africans too; I met my friend in MIT School of Business there and we had a great time visiting saras bag, lohagad, zoo, museum...

My uncle is right now there coming back in a couple of days.

PS: another friend of mine is studying in Symboisis there.

We had planned to visit club cabana...and it got closed the previous day
It was summer

Ya they are still there in significant numbers.

But my frame of reference was the fag end of the 80s and early 90s.

Nothing like that now.
