How has this thread taken a turn towards Qadianiat? I am very surprised.

As someone who has often prayed in Airport lounges, grassy lawns, road-sides, etc.. in USA & UK when time for prayer came and no Masjid or private area was available, I wondered about this thread a few days ago and decided to keep away. No need to be part of a debate where most people would not want to understand the reason, need, or logic of praying in public.

I just happened to see @Talon 's name mentioned at the top of this thread and opened it to see what she may have to contribute. Lo and behold she is arguing with a Qadiani member. How come this thread came to this?

I actually dont know People started asking if Christians can do the same in Saudi and then came in a similar thing Qadyani saying they will be shot or something if they pray in open....whole thread went from a Muslim confidently praying in US to Qadyani faith

As much distraction as a fabric with design on it was declined... So HUGE distraction with ppl walking around & chirping would definitely null-&-void the purpose of/spirit of prayer...!!

Brother, I have sometimes had to pray like that. If it is between missing prayers or offering them in public, I would choose the latter. I once prayed on the green area in front of Westminster Abbey in heart of London when I went exploring London on a few hours' stop-over. It was a choice of either missing the prayer time or praying in public a bit like these fellows. Be generous and forgive them their presumption.

And finally, your brilliant plan to stop persecution in Pakistan, throw away our fundamental human right to please bigots? You insult the Quran by getting your own msg out of it to prove some random Muhammad Ghullam Mirza (ya 3 pieces of names no rasool had 3 pieces of names at birth) started getting revelations in Arabic (no rasool got any revelations except that in his mother tongue...Mirza sahab didnt get it in Urdu nor Sanskrit but a learned language called Arabic) then he claims just coz he gets revelations from Muhammad in heaven ...he is not rebunking the seal of the prophethood coz he is not a new prophet but is one with Muhammad...How come this sounds like the holy trinity?

You will be surprised to know I am probably 1 of the few who isnt worried about your religion at all! All I did say is if people have a problem and you are getting prosecuted based on such a problem change the name and live freely! why force the people to call you Muslim when you neither pray like us (otherwise how can articles claim that so and so was beaten up when he started praying or reading the Quran...apparently there are remark differences which signal you out) nor do you agree with the Quran (I mean Mr.Ghullam) actually stated he gets his revelations from Prophet Muhammad in heaven and hence should be thought of as Muhammad...Do you want me to post that reply which I posted a while back on a different thread? (the reply is highlighting what Mr.Ghulam said) and only what he said no one's twisted words
