It depends on how deep in India you want to go. If China wanted to invade to Leh in the west (~100 miles), Delhi in the center (200 to 250 miles), and cutting off the Siliguri Corridor/overrunning all NE India (60 to 100 miles), then logistics is not that big of an issue at all. Considering how the Chinese military of 1962 was able to be very well supplied during the Sino-India War, I doubt logistics would pose a major challenge. Of course, if you want to go beyond Delhi and say strike into central India, then it becomes much harder and China would find itself in a Vietnam/Iraq like situation.
