What Does Alexander the Great Have to Do with Buddhist Imagery?

 he was born in sakya kashtriya clan. and his home town is dominated by Indo Aryan biharis. (lumbini faces India in 3 sides)
I am sure he used to look like modern day upper caste UP bihari.

Bihari or bhonpuris themselves are settlers in Nepal and not native to the region.. The Tharus (Mongloid) are natives of Nepal though.

Also lombini itself is a Nepali city not a Biharii town..

Your sakya rants are full of nonsense and not supported by established facts!

Nobody is gonna buy your nonsense.

yes, first start returning statues of dharmic religions to India.

Buddhism was the region of the forefathers of the people living in Pak..

Hindus radicals Infact were the ones responsible for the persecution of Buddhism.

As for the "statues".. You have no claim on our heritage.. Unless your ancestors were Panjabi,Hazarawal or Pashtuns...

Gandhara was and is part of Pakistan., not some clown sitting thousands of miles away in the center of proper Hindustan Bihar.

Do you really think Alexander won? The Greeks never crossed the Indus river, how come the ruthless Greek reinstate a lost king when he chopped off his rivals in Persia and else where, even when Alexander had a deal with purushottam(porus)'s brother for handing over his kingdom if porous lost, but Alexander gave back the kingdom to the lost king how is that possible?
Alexander had lost his horse busiphalus and porus's spear had pierced alexanders lungs alexander was already sick and he wanted to see Greece before he died that's why they hurriedly returned back on the way alexander died.
He left his chieftains where ever they won but there is no proof of Greeks in punjab , Greeks were pushed to Afghanistan and eventually perished.

Why ? To get it destroyed like bamiyan buddhas

Son.. Bamiyan is in Afghanistan... Open your eyes.

But according to many Pakistanis Taliban's and Pakistanis are brothers, can you guarantee the safety of kuffar material, by seeing what's happening in Syria and iraq do you think UK and other countries will return the artifacts?

But according to most indians they are hindutvadis .. Many here even support and advocate murder over dumb things like beef.. Christians are evil """" and so on... Can you guarantee that?

As for Syria or Iraq ... You have to be special kind of retard to compare Pakistan with those countries... And you are "parading" your stupidity .. without knowing that Pak the birthplace of civiliaations like Indus Valley Civilisation,Harrapa,Mehrgarh,Gandhara has protected its heritage quiet well.. And are proud of it.. Even our currency has those printed on it!

As for UK etc.. We can approach through forums like UN etc... And keep trying until they do !

A Bihari with his invented Vedic history confused about his ancestory.. Claiming the history of other nations..

Stop talking about stuff you have no idea about.
So Buddha was a Bihari born in Nepal... And Gandhara etc were ancestors of Biharis and malus?

anyway @DESERT FIGHTER i am posting this just for you.

Gautama was born as a Kshatriya,[60][note 10] the son of Śuddhodana, "an elected chief of the Shakya clan",
[4] whose capital was Kapilavastu, and who were later annexed by the growing Kingdom of Kosala during the Buddha's lifetime. Gautama was the family name. His mother, Maya (Māyādevī), Suddhodana's wife, was a Koliyan princess.

/ wiki / Gautama_Buddha#Conception_and_birth

this is my last reply to you. have fun !

Spare me nonsense from wikipedia۔.. There is not even a single source that points out the location of the "sakhya" kingdom.. Some claim it was in Nepal... The Burmese loyality claims the salty descent too... Shytty Wikipedia.

Tactically Alexander won the battle. But strategically the matter was lost...and Alexander realised that (in this regard he understood the limit of his army somewhat unlike what Napoleon did in Russia)...especially seeing the tenacity with which he had to fight just to win one of many more to come. Persian campaign had already sapped his army.

However you may be right that maybe it was more of a skirmish and Greeks overhyped what happened to end on a "winning" note. There is so neutral 3rd party account of what happened so we cannot say for sure any way.

When did Alexander ever reach India?

The term India has historically also been used to refer to:

Yes then please write - 'Indian sub-continent'.

P.S; It was the hindu radicals who persecuted Buddists from modern day India .. Who put money on the heads of buddist monks! Who burnt and destroyed monasteries and stupas!

And it was the Buddists who sided with Muslims against Hindus! Read your history.

Okay.

I got your point.

Keep living in your little world.

We proudly claim those civilisations because our ancestors built them.. Our religion doesn't automatically change our race aswell... What's your point? You have no substance .. Your entire arguement is based on religion nothing else.
