Its because the theme of Hinduism is everything in this world is one/part of one Bramha. So there is no scope to hate anything/anybody.
I am not talking about hating, but I dont see how two opposite assertions be right at the same time.. for example is there 1 powerful god, or there are many gods... both cant be true...
Please dont tell me they are avatars or 1 in all ..and all in one.. or some fuzzy thing, I am not on drugs... :)

Well it depends on you and what you want to accept.

In Hinduism its the concept that world and the three Gods were created from one Prakash punj similar like Big Bang. Brahma, The Creator, Vishnu The Care taker and Shiv The destroyer. In Hinduism, there is concept of Man and Woman Gods. Equal representation to Female form.

There are many things one can pick and believe. The multiplicity is due to what people from one region, one time believed in. At one place is Mythology based on spatial temporal space and other place is absolute truth.

You see, the way Hinduism evolved is through logic and counter-logic and it has evolved with time along with the people. There are different schools of thoughts.I know about six of them which are again sub divided into many other schools. They have their own explanations of the Hindu way of life,Sanatan dharma and they have their own ways to attain the ultimate goal,to have peace.

You have to understand a subject ,at least some part of it,before you start making judgements. You are merely scratching the top here.I suggest you do some reading before making assumptions. After you go through the different sets of logic given by different philosophers, all of them may start to seem right to you.And this is the best part. The Hindu way of life gives you the freedom to choose your own way, your own destiny. This is what makes Hinduism unique. There is no absolute authority in Hinduism.Another salient point which imparts tolerance to it.

So...start reading.

Why not, the Singularity of Supreme Power from which the gods were Created like in Hinduism and Allah in Islam is same.

In Hinduism, there is concept of Zero. That is nothingness. Also in Hinduism there is concept of Infinty or Anant.

Islam and Hinduism can co-exist. That's why the Spatio-temporal nature of Gos or Supreme power.

Where did Islam started ? Where did Christianity Buddhism, Jainism started, can be defined in Spatio Temporal Plane.

alternatively I can use this forum to ask question to learned men/women... I have been told to read quran already.. which basically means... shut up..dont ask difficult question.. it makes us uncomfortable.. :)

also if hinduism can have opposite schools of thought then its not much 'ism' is just group of people doing things in their own way.

As for cons - the caste based discrimination and the apathy towards spreading the faith.
