What do teenagers do that you find cringe worthy?

IMO teenage is the time to do things. That's the time to live life to the fullest. You have to make stupid decisions at that time and regret them. That will help you to think rationally later. It's the time to have weird dreams. If you have just studied and didn't interact with the outside world at that time then you've lost things that you'll never be able to gain in your life.

Done that. Still do that. I even smoke weed at times.

Done that and still do that. Same goes for disrespecting seniors/boss at workplace.

Finally something....never done that.

Haven't done that myself. But have hanged up with guys who were that way.


I don't really find anything cringe worth anymore. I have seen and done a lot of things in my teens which helped develop my personality and made me what I am today. And I am alright with what I have become.

What are some things pakistani teenagers or your respective country's teens do that you find cringe worthy ?
Here's my list ;

Cutting ;
I understand when teens become stressed , they cut themselves but this cutting is more of a show off and gaining attention than the real issue . I don't understand what's the need to cut yourself after every break up and then show it to your class , friends and be proud of it ?
Look at their mentality , I have an example of a friend who burned her arm after a break up , her bf name started from 'U' so she made 'u' from cigarette on her arm , later she found another but again broke up , his name started from ' S' so she converted 'U to'S' by cigarette , then she found another whose name started from 'Z' , after her breakup I was worried how would she convert 's' to 'z' so I gave her a alphabetical sticker of 'Z' and told her to paste it on her arm instead of burning . It's both sad and cringe worthy , I couldn't understand they do it and then they show it to people , for what ?

Backbiting ;
This is a very serious low moral of teens . You see them backbiting everyone , their parents , their siblings , their friends , class fellows everyone . They're not happy with people , they'll find flaws in every good .

Obsession with Smoking, drugs ;
The way they bring cigarettes , drugs or alcohol in colleges and schools and invite others to join just for the reason that they want to sound cool is seriously pathetic . There's always that group in the class that does such stuff. They also try to publicise it by uploading such photos in their social media's with a hash tag # mera pyar hookah baar '".

Disrespecting teachers ;
Very pathetic . You'll see them making pathetic names on their teachers or doing their acting behind them . Abusing them in friends company , being rude to them and degrading them is another serious flaw in our teens. Blaming and abusing teachers when they get low grades ' That btch has some personal enmity with me , don't know who made her a teacher , I had a good paper, such a slt'

Do you know who my dad is ;

Like I'm not interested to know your dad or have any business with him but why do you always bring your dad when getting in a conflict . You've done wrong , accept humbly , try to move along ,. No need to go to threatening other people with such silly rants .

Trying to be gangsters ;
These teenage kids would go gangster in their appearance , acting as gangsters , talking as gangsters, calling eachother daada, Don . They'll wet their pants if they ever saw a real gun in their life.

What do you find cringe worthy about them ?

They are lame, most of them are creepy around girls. Hardly know how to talk to girls, lack class even the if they are super rich or posh.

Teens need a proper guiding of what love is .

They don't even know how to communicate to opposite gender properly and they fall in love with them , extreme love . That they realise was just temporary attraction in their later life.

The last worst experience I had was teens crowding the aisles in a train and using the 'F'-word as if it was going out of fashion in the next fifteen minutes and they had quotas to use up.

@Well.wisher , there is also the fact that at least from after World War 2, teenagers were put in the "child" category. Before that era they were considered to be young adults.
