The United Nations Convention for Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) was signed in 1982 and came into effect in 1994. The actual UN body that oversees the implementation and enforcement of UNCLOS is the International Tribunal for Law of the Sea (ITLOS), located in Hamburg, Germany. This "Permanent Court of Arbitration" is a kangaroo court located in Hague, which rents the same building as the UN International Court of Justice in order to give it some false authority. It has no jurisdiction whatsoever to issue judgement on a UN convention as it is not in any way, shape or form affiliated with United Nations.
There was an idiot the other day trying to argue that this kangaroo court was "in spirit" part of UN. In that case, I'm "in spirit" the lifelong dictator of Mars. It's all smoke and mirrors to give an ignorant public that this arbitration is somehow authoritative and binding because it is "international". Here is a fun fact. Nobody has ever obeyed any ruling from this clown show in the 17 cases that was brought to it.
