I don't think there is any chance in foreseeable future for both countires to come too close to each other.
Over the years despite all out efforts no real gains are there in this context. A status-quo is still there... And it will remain so until and unless a solution of outstanding issues like Kashmir can be found with win-win situation... That itself is almost impossible task to reach.
Next, Both country must accept each other on equal level. No one must try to think itself as Big Brother like thing.
Ya for sure pakistan has made such huge efforts to push for peace like kargil, 26/11, terrorism all over india etc etc. Lol it tough to see why there is no peace in the region even after all these "efforts" from the pakistani side lol please think before you talk. Lol kashmir is just a topic for leaders in pakistan to rally the crowd and get people to vote for them. No matter what kashmir will always remain a part of India because it was always, as India grows and prospers even more, kashmiri will realize themselves that their future is with India and everything will become normal, India is not liable or needs to talk to anyone to solve this issue, for us it is an internal matter and it stays that way/
