What Are You Listening to Right Now - Round 2

. . .
Afghan, Afghan, Afghan, Afghan, Afghanistan

A soviet singer's eulogy to the afghan war---a very old song.

. . . . .
A very powerful Ballad from the legendary Johnny Cash

He passed away 3 months after this song released.

Cash is one of my favourites of all time....it would take me too long to go into details of the best stuff he's done.

Regd this one, Trent Reznor basically said that it (Hurt) was Cash's song now.

Cash was really great at improving the deeper sound of a song with his unique gravelly voice, and making it his own

His take on a Sting classic, such a deep theme about regret over accidental killing...and consequences no matter that regret.

Gives me chills each time I listen to it and makes me think of my own regrets from mistakes that cannot be changed now....:

Sheenai by Khumariyaan (Live Concert) I The Creatives Bhaag I Nairobi I Rabab music | Best pashto

Khumariyaan performs Sheenai live in Nairobi during the first show of their 2022 East African Tour. This song is a tribute to folk music, green-eyed people, and, the stepped lush valleys of Gilgit Baltistan.

I love folk music so much.
