What are the 10 most serious problems faced by India?

In my view, there are only three which all our problems come under;
1. The abuse of the true spirit of democracy.
2. The irresistible desire to violate the law of equality.
3. Non adaptability with the changing circumstances.

1.Poverty.
2.Poverty
3.Poverty
4.Poverty
5.Poverty
6.Poverty
7.Poverty
8.Poverty
9.Poverty
10.Poverty

Once poverty is taken care of everything else will either completely be taken care of or will reduce to a great extent.

No, once the economy starts growing stronger again, poverty will go away by its own. Anti poverty measures like those of the UPA are socialist nonsense and harm the economy.

The most serious issues in India are those which harm the economy:

- Corruption

- Bureaucracy/RedTape

- Indecisive leadership

- Bad infrastructure

- Bad education

- Security concerns (Masoism, religious violence)
etc etc etc

You are not saying anything different from what I am saying. You are just framing it differently.

High growth economy will lead to higher income and reducing poverty. High growing economy is a means to achieve the ends of a high standard of living and reduction of poverty.

1)reservation on the basis of caste, should be on basis of finances

2)socialist thinking leading to bad but popular policy decisions

3)consumption based and services led economy with no manufacturing(no is a figure of speech here)

4)limited post graduate seats in institutes

5)pay grade-needs to be boosted for high profile jobs involving innovation etc

6)multi party system-oh yeah,i would have preferred a two party presidential system but due to diverse cultures etc we couldn't risk that

7)neighbours like pakistan infested with jihadi elements

8)no uniform civil code leading to stupid provisions like allowing polygamy for muslims

9)disinvestment in public companies lie HAL ,AIR INDIA,ONGC,BSNL etc

10)parties like AAP and CPI(m)
