What are the 10 most serious problems faced by India?

  1. Corruption.
  2. Intolerance,radicalisation.
  3. Wealth inequality.( Disparity in distribution of wealth in certain regions), poverty.
  4. Shortage of resources like water,food ,electricity,shelter and sanitation issues.
  5. Internal security issues.
  6. Job security and lack of job guarantee.
  7. Malnutrition , gender inequality,population stabilisation.
  8. Bad governance, pending governance reforms, public system structural faults.
  9. Hostile neighborhoods.
  10. Not understanding the simple fact that nation is people specific, nor statistics nor false pride.


That's a big problem. I think poverty can be reduced if there is less corruption. You will see more investments and that would create more jobs.

So yeah...corruption is big problem...bigger than poverty.
