He fancies himself as Turkeys Khomeini..he was going to be our '''spiritual leader'' and then he was going to fight the other grand mollah in Tahran for the soul of the Islamic world. Fucking batshit insane idiot

One fake "imported" mullah who was successfully implanted in Iran from France and now this unsuccessful attempt to do the same with Turkey. The westerns civilization have already caused so much damage to muslim world with fake Iranian revolution, one can only imagine with utter shock at the thoughts of what might happened had it succeeded in Turkey.

US Candidate Trump is the only one not indulging in anti-Turkish government rhetoric:

...
In an interview with the newspaper on Wednesday, Trump also expressed little willingness to speak out against purges or civil rights crackdowns by authoritarian allies like Turkey, the Times said.

“I don’t think we have the right to lecture,” the Times quoted him as saying during the 45-minute interview in a downtown Cleveland hotel suite.

“Look at what is happening in our country,” he said. “How are we going to lecture when people are shooting policemen in cold blood?”

If you're implying that US isolationist policy in ME, would be good thing, then I agree too. Trump has it correct in that regard.

Lol at people who think western mass- medias are free, honest and always saying the truth, covering all views and opinions. There isn't a single media outlet that is completely independent as long as it is owned by someone, a group of people or a big corporation that is always influenced by some other higher ranked people. Big corporations usually own dozens of medias of every type so how independent can they be from one another? How free a media can be when big money are in charge and certain interests are in charge of everything? Medias have always been used as the best propaganda tool available as it is part of the soft power that controls the masses.

They refuse to show the other side of the coin, and to show the real truth about things happening- the truth that Turkish people are against this coup no matter their religion, political views and ethnicity, they just want peace in those hard times... nothing else. Vox populi, vox Dei.

Partly inspired by this thread I looked up some info on Gullen. And it **seems** like, yes, Gullen may be doing some nice work in schooling, charity, building bridges between civilization, promoting 'moderate Islam' etc, but his 'movement' is a bit too secretive and likely to play into the hands of anti-Turk foreign elements.
It is good for Turkey to justly and promptly clean up the anti-State elements from within Turkey.

PS. A latest NY Times article is saying that Turkish intelligence sources were aware of the coup a few hours in advance, and that the coup makers had to rush their coup because of their fear that Ergodan would act first. Well, I guess this forum already knows that!

Green party head warns about 'Turkish PEGIDA' in Germany
Green party co-head Cem Özdemir has cautioned against radical Turkish nationalists in Germany. Özdemir has also suggested possible sanctions and said the government must send a signal to curb "Erdogan's long arm."

In the aftermath of a failed military coup in Turkey, Germany's Green party co-leader said German politicians need to treat radical Turkish nationalist groups with the same caution as radical right-wing groups in Germany interview on Sunday.

"There is, unfortunately, a form of Turkish PEGIDA in Germany that we must treat the same way as the group we already know of," Cem Özdemir told the German newspaper "Bild am Sonntag."

Özdemir said allowing Erdogan's ideology to spread in German classrooms is 'intolerable'

Özdemir told the newspaper that, in Germany, there was a consensus that German right-wing populists existed "on the margins of society and are not normal interlocutors."

"But for radical Turks, these standards to not apply," he added. Anti-immigration movement PEGIDA, has drawn attention for its rallies and xenophobic rhetoric which criticizes Germany's asylum and refugee policy.

If PEGIDA leader Lutz Bachmann were invited to an event, no "self-respecting democrat" would attend, said the Green party chief.

He urged that this kind of political attitude must now be applied to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government representatives who are based in Germany.

In the interview with "Bild am Sonntag," Özdemir especially criticized the Turkish mosque organization DITIB - one of the largest Islamic organizations in Germany.

He said the organization should break away from the influence of Turkey in order to not become "the extended arm" of Erdogan's AKP party.

"If we open Muslim religious schools through the DITIB, then we allow Erdogan's ideology to be spread through our classrooms," warned Özdemir. "I find that intolerable."

The European Union should consider sanctions which directly affect those in power in Turkey, "if democracy, rule of law and human rights continue to be suspended," urged Özdemir, suggesting bank account and asset freezes.

The EU has expressed concern over the imposition of a state of emergency in the wake of an attempted military coup, though the criticism has not been well received by Erdogan. Parts of the European Convention on Human Rights have also been suspended in the country.

I hope the influential politicians in the EU grant this dog his wish. That way Turkey can finally find a good excuse to end its pathetic and humiliating relationship with the EU.
