Interesting thread by a purportedly Arab member, whose contribution to the board has gone un-acknowledged so far (sarcasm intended). The thread apparently emanates from ignorance and Arab inferiority complex that somehow talent, skin color and language strength are Arab proprietary things.
Ignorance is a bliss in way, when it comes to them their time reckoning is upon them, next decade is going to be really interesting for them and we will see them running all across the globe with their harems and luxuries and money, begging every nation to fight for them.
Anyways on to topic let me recall few nations/tribes who have contributed to genetic diversity of Pakistan:
- Dravidians (although mostly south Indians but remanents are in Pakistan as well)
- Indo Arians (different theories about origin)
- MeherGarh
- Indus valley
- Greek
- Iranian
- Uzbek
- Tajik
- Mongols
- WhiteHuns
- Chinese
- Arabs
- Turks
- British (Anglo Indians)
- Pashtuns
- Bani Israel (the lost tribe if I were to believe the folklore)
- Africans (sheedi)
I might have missed a few but it does give an idea, they are not in the exact order of coming to indo pakistan
Genetic mixing of above mentioned, few weeks back I was writing an article on the food variety of Pakistan, when I collected the data I was simply taken aback, the diversity is so varied that I had to expand my article to multiple ones. Whatever the influence, whatever the origin it does reflect interaction/existence of that ethnic group in Pakistan; some of the food are common as far as (former) Yugoslavia.
on top of it weather and food has an impact on the skin tone of races when looked at on the basis of millenia. When look at from the perspective of area vs genetic/ethnic diversity we are definitely one of the most diverse country in the world. Obsession with skin fairness is not only common among Pakistanis but staring from Philippines to Indonesia to Malaysia to sri Lanka to Bangladesh to India to Pakistan to Iran to Arab it is not only obsession but a trait of discrimination as well.
Even among Arabs Bedouin are not respected like any other because of the tone of their skin, manners is altogether a different thing.
