We won't kneel down before India

yeah well, say that when they explode a bomb in front of your house.

IMO decreasing people to people contact is not the way to go forward . Now please tell me how exactly we are helping here ?

U need support of either the citizens or its govt to make a country less hostile to us. Now I don't want any talks with them after this whole Ufa thing so Pakistani citizen is the logical way to go.

Wah u want to live peacefully or not? How would they react knowing we tried to bankrupt PCB?

We can leave these kind of things on Diplomacy or should let BCCI to be run by Diplomats?
no need for that its a matter of national pride and survival for them let them make there own choice we have made owr stand clear ... play by owr rules or foget any play period :coffee:

How is a cricket series going to increase people to people contact (that too in Abu dhabi)

**** india

Why the argument in the first place
Since its a nationalistic forum, you can fcuk India through your keyboard and even raise a Pakistani flag over white house.

But in reality he came to India with tail between his legs and suffered humiliation at Kolkata airport by illegal detaining by Indians.

And he is still confident of a series with india that's chances came down from 100 to 50% in his words.

Not just Pakistan..the whole south Asia should know who is the boss of the reason and that displeasing India in any manner is detrimental to their progress..
I am not saying to bully them..but it's the need of the hour.

in short : at one time its important to show whose the boss :coffee:

People to people contact doesn't mean literally meeting them in person but doing things on civilian stage .

Diplomacy? Whom will you have diplomacy with? Who is the boss there? Who is going to assure you that they would curb anti India activities from their land? Pakistan is a country with many bosses..
Unless all those heads come together and pass a resolution that they would accept all the demands of India, we needn't have not try any diplomacy with them.

U failed to understand the meaning of my post and gave a point in my favor . Clearing things up diplomatically covers areas like Kashmir , terrorism/ proxies and increasing trade . Now since u said they have many bosses its only natural that our only way to go forward with them is to have less Indian sentiments among Pakistanis. They can have any boss there but in the end that boss has to look at his subjects too.

Our markets can favor a lot from Pakistanis and not to mention even a lot of Pakistanis are tired of their Kashmir obsession.

We are going in right direction.. we have literally made Pakistan cricket board bankrupt...they should know that they can't prosper by having an enmity with India and by encouraging terrorism.
PCB encourage terrorism and Pakistani players encourage terrorism.. yap by drinking acid served to them right.. get a life looser..

Amazing pakistani response...

We won't kneel down before India

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan finally hit the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hard by saying that Pakistan won’t kneel down before India for a series.

“It does not matter whether we play India or not as already no series has not taken place in so many years,” he said, while talking to media at Pindi Stadium late Tuesday..

Would have had more credibility if PCB wasn't constantly moaning about the series.....

PCB forced to cut costs in absence of Pakistan-India series

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan said on Thursday if India does not confirm the series, the board is likely to cut expenditures to remain financially stable.

“Obviously we have estimated that we can generate even by a conservative estimate around $50 to $60 million from the series which translates into Rs5 to Rs6 billion for us,” a PCB official said, according to the Press Trust of India.

The PCB has been banking on this series to generate surplus funds but if that does not happen then automatically we have to cut expenditures and go for some downsizing,” he added.

Shahryar has said publicly that an outsourced HR firm has advised reduction and merger of departments and letting go of surplus employees.

Presently, the PCB employees around 900 individuals and many of them are in well paid positions at the board headquarters and national cricket academy in Lahore.

The chairman said in a recent interview that the first step towards reducing costs would be to merge the international cricket affairs and domestic cricket affairs department in to one ‘cricket affairs’ department. Moreover, the directorial positions currently responsible for running these departments would be abolished.

Former Test captain Intikhab Alam is currently the domestic cricket director, while Zakir Khan is responsible for international cricket affairs.

The PCB source revealed that the newly concocted department of cricket affairs would be led by two General Managers and Usman Wahla and Ali Zia might be the other two candidates to be given the responsibility.

The source said there were recommendations to reduce staff by around 200 people.

“The PCB has a huge payroll and also spends a lot on subsidising domestic cricket (approximately Rs600-700 million) besides taxes payments to players and managing the national women’s junior and A teams,” said the source.

The source added that the new central contracts given to 28 players were the only pay hikes that PCB had allowed in recent times.

Another source said that presently vast amount of expenditure was being borne by the board on the Pakistan Super League (PSL) secretariat but the PCB is hopeful this money will be recovered later on when the league is launched next February.

The board official admitted that from a financial standpoint, the series against India was very lucrative as the broadcasters’ five-year contract with the board would have nearly doubled to around $150 million.

“If there is no series with India in the contractual period the amount comes down to around $80 to 90 million.”

The official also stated that right now the Pakistan board relied heavily on the shares it gets from the ICC revenues from all ICC events.

“With the World T20 scheduled next year, the Champions Trophy in 2017 and then another World T20 and the main World Cup to follow by 2019, the financial forecast is safe but expenditures are only growing,” he said.

The PCB’s money reserves were recently boosted by its share from the World Cup 2015.

India must reward Pakistan for supporting ‘Big Three’: PCB
By Sports Desk
Published: September 6, 2015

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan said on Sunday India should stay true to its word of ‘rewarding’ Pakistan for its support for the ‘Big Three’ governance system introduced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) last year.

Under the ‘Big Three’ system of governance the control of world cricket was effectively handed over to India, England and Australia.

Shahryar said that Pakistan had its own reasons for supporting the ‘Big Three’ format but one of them was that it would eventually result in restoration of bilateral ties with India.

“It is true that we agreed to the ‘Big Three’ system after the Indian cricket board promised us it would renew cricketing ties with us and they eventually also signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with us to play six series between 2015 and 2023,” said Shahryar, according to the Press Trust of India.

“We want the BCCI to honour its commitment made to us through the MOU and I am still optimistic the series could happen eventually,” he said..........

yeah well, say that when they explode a bomb in front of your house.

And this is exactly our feelings when Indian sponsored terrorists explode bombs outside our houses!

Now don't play such a saint here, you know it and I know it how the dirty geopolitical games are being played in the region.

@Indians gloating about pushing PCB to bankrupcy:

Dudes, if you could have, you would have done it looooooooooonnnggg time ago.

Despite all your efforts from the last decades (including organized terrorist attack on Sri Lankan team), and facing worst of the problems a country could have, cricket in Pakistan is still surviving and thriving. And it will continue doing that, Insha Allah.

Now our time will come when we take off economically and I wish no sporting relations with India, none of any sort.

Pakistan did a great mistake in the past supporting India in several sports-forums (cricket, etc.) and this is how India paid us back.

India, a known backstabber, will not be forgotten!

You will and you already did that when you keel down before " Big 3". You know well who is leading "Big3 " LOL
