PESCO is doing right thing, shifting load shedding to areas which hardly pay any bills with 90-95% losses.

''Pesco spokesperson Shaukat Afzal said the supply of electricity would be curtailed for four to eight hours in areas where illegal use of electricity is low, like Peshawar, Abbottabad, Swabi, Haripur, Nowshera and Mardan.

However, in areas with higher illegal use, like Tank, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Charsadda, Shabqadar, Besham, Battagram, Hari Chand and Peshawar’s outskirts, load-shedding will exceed eight hours.

Afzal said industrial estates will be exempt from power outages as recovery from the areas is 100% and illegal use of electricity is minimum, except the steel industries where Pesco will carry out four hours of load-shedding.''

Well instead of crying politicians from these areas should work on how to stop bijli theft. While areas with good recovery should be rewarded with less power cuts.

spare kpk people the lecture by abid sher ali

do punjab give 1/2 subsidy on wheat ? i think not

so first charge kpk fair price as electricity generated there is cheap

You are PTI fundu, will not understand anything. Punjab also suffer from power cuts, and those areas with huge line losses now suffer more as it should be. Same thing is done in KPK, reward areas with good recovery.
