We Want Martial Law in Sindh: Altaf Hussain

well i am in favor to have a Military rule in Karachi or particularly in Sindh , i am just fed up with all these target killings, bhatta khori , haram khori , terror bori , and above all ,daily interviews of bhai ..

As soon as PPP corrupt and incompetent govt in Sind makes some accommodation for MQM to come back, the fat toad from London will shut up.

This party MQM is a prostitute. It wants more to sleep with the corrupt govt of PPP.

Between 2008 and 2013, approximately 7000 people were killed in Karachi in political violence. I cant be this accommodating to accept what everything Altaf says when he was part of a coalition govt for 5 years under which so many people were killed.

If MQM was part of that govt, its responsible for such mass killings. No bargain, no leeway and no forgiving.

Its just not about karachi , its all over pakistan, with school kids getting butchered, then no electricity, no gas, no petrol no one to stop the royal crrouption , nation wants army to clean this mess?
Marshall laws in this country, had proven 100 times better to them, no one can deny that!

OK, he was against Military Courts in start, but agreed later when they had the assurance that these courts will not be allowed to try any political terrorist & now he want Martial Law..... Wah Bhai Wah ...

AH was not against Military Courts, just their jurisdiction to try 'political' terrorists as such courts in the past had been misused by the establishment. His most immediate concern is that by default all MQM workers are 'terrorists'.

why martial law in sindh? he was against military courts till last week. Now U TURN.

total drama what about such demands when in 2010-2011 they were killing non stop them and ANP innocent people daily?

Don't you yourself see the irony and duality in your post, innocent and ANP in any single sentence should be declared blasphemy, as it precisely is! And demands by AH were valid then and they are still valid today. The only difference is that he wants to ensure that the Sindh Government will not forward 'political' cases to Military courts.

I am biggest supporter of martial law but i think that Altaf bhai is cooking something.
Well i could be wrong but altaf to me wants to engage army in karachi too, then later on he will starts blaming army and will turn all people of karachi against Pak army, in short he is paving a way for 1971 i think
And we should also not ignore his previous statements!

That purpose can never be achieved if the Army gives the Karachiites what we want. On the contrary, if the Army starts another operation against Karachi then ofcourse there will be resentment as our own killing us just cannot be excused.

i forgot to put a comma. I meant ANP & MQM thugs during there gang war killed innocent people. in cross firing. now don't divert the topic.

the fact is Karachi situation is much better since 2010-2011 when both ANP & MQM were in government and kept having gang war along with PPP liyari.

Since operation atleast daily deaths in karachi have decreased Allahmdulillah.

i guess if you clean lyari, sohrab goth, manghopir, al asif, then those daily deaths will decrease, but you know why police and rangers not clean those areas

If MQM or Karachitte that do really support MQM, were against Pakistan then why would they be contributing in its economy and development providing jobs for all countrymen. You guys had the experience of PPP governance in the country. Why do you think its any different in Sindh. Ask any logical person here.
Moreover consider one simple fact. Karachi doesnt possess any arms factories or arms heavens like darra. How does these illegal weapons end up in karachi in the first place. They have to travel through atleast 2 provinces before reaching Karachi. A perspective!!

The peace in Karachi will benefit all its citizens. But Karachi have continious migration of people displaced from northern Pakistan that are settling in Karachi on private and public land by the land mafia. When there was flood in rural Sindh one nationalist political leader bused hundreds of flood effected people to Karachi and occupied a highrise apartment building under construction. The police and authorities could do nothing since the people were armed. The owners of those flats lost money when they were forced to "donate" to have those returned to their village and rebuilding of their homes.

Martial law is no solution. Solution lies in people becoming politically mature. See this current govt. IT has given up the country to the army. It is a form of martial law. It just shows that its not that rulers are incompetent, we are, who choose such people and martial law my dear will not rectify this national fault.
