'We Want Hindi': In Tamil Nadu, New Demand Speaks Language of Change

.
Language has got nothing to do with religion in this context.

I finished my studies 15 years back, Till 11th Kendriya vidyalaya (CBSE) , 12th state board (Hindi as second language).
Still doesnt change the fact that in 12 th three schools gave me the option of Hindi as second language. And I dint study in chennai.

I totally agree with u on this , however what I totally dont understand is why the NI see us Tamilians as criminals for not knowing Hindi? If any person wants to learn he will, that becomes a necessity.

yes the arrogance of many north indians is indeed a problem, the dravidian party morons and these arrogant northies deserve each other.

tamil is a defeated language. It is only natural that they demand hindi.

. . . . . . .
Hindi is a master language and there is no escaping it. Come Tamil brothers, embrace your destiny, you have no other choice.

That is ridiculous. Every state can retain its language freely but Learning Hindi would be useful in communicating with an Indian language across India.

You are making it sound as if every state language is crap. That is wrong.

Sanskrit is the mother language. Not Hindi.

Hindi is just easier to learn in today's context.

That's exactly what I am trying to say. We Punjabis learn Hindi, does that make us forget Punjabi? Nope cause we don't have an inferiority complex.

If a north east fellow can come in Delhi and talk in fluent hindi , i know few maniipuris who speak fluent hindi. Why cant these southies follow the change?

whole of South India is comfortable with Hindi , problem is with Tamilandu and they need to be put in place ..

Of course bro, but in the modern context it is Hindi. Btw do you speak Sikkimese? I believe all NE Languages should be preserved, very nice to the ears.

xD!

I wonder why with rhetoric like this Tamilians don't embrace their destiny

:D

If a north east fellow can come in Delhi and talk in fluent hindi , i know few maniipuris who speak fluent hindi. Why cant these southies follow the change?

Because Southies who move to Mumbai, Delhi and other Northern cities do learn to speak Hindi.

Hindi speaking migrants to southern cities don't usually learn Southern languages.

South Indians learn Hindi of their own volition. And increasing numbers are doing so.

Is it so hard to admit that this was a stupid move from the Centre? And Dravidian parties being what they are blew it up beyond proportion.

lol @ tamils

u gotta improve brothers. come to truth & learn hindi and punjabi :)

Tamil Nadu improve to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Chattisgarh.

I think Tamilians wont speak Hindi because of that
