KARACHI: The government has concrete evidence of India’s involvement in terrorism across the country and the issue will be taken up during a round of talks with New Delhi soon, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Monday.

Talking to reporters after meeting clerics in Karachi, Malik said terrorists and weapons were also coming in from Afghanistan, and Pakistan had taken up the issue with Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

He said the government was working on an action plan for effective surveillance of the Pak-Afghan border, adding that in this regard, biometric checkposts would soon be set up at three points along the border.

Malik said Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden was not in Pakistan, and if anyone had any information in this regard, he should share it with Islamabad so that the country could take appropriate action.

To a question, he said the government was taking action against terrorists regardless of their affiliations with a madrassa or any organisation.

The interior minister said religious scholars from all sects had declared suicide attacks against the teachings of Islam, while the government had also sought the views of clerics from around the world on terrorism. He said the government would organise a conference on terrorism where scholars from Muslim countries would be invited to give their views on the issue.

Malik said he would also meet clerics across the country and in this regard, a meeting had been scheduled in Lahore on December 10.

Completely Agree! , Just to wipe off the incompetence from his own shoulders , India is an easy excuse. I am sure if he really had some real proofs like India had, when calls were traced to Pakistan cities, Rehman malik would not have missed out on that opportunity.
Dont know why he and some politicians blaming India, maybe to say it is foreign hand and we are not doing anything.
Every one in pakistan knows that there are major infiltrations in Kashmir round the year. and they say that we dont have control on them hence cannot help India. so is the same story not true when the same monstor is seeing Pak army's motive has changed and is trying to destroy them. logic is clear

The only proof they have is no proof at all. as the way i see it these Haram khore are profiting from all this and they have no reason to Help the Average pakistani sick and tired of this clown making these statements every other day if u have some thing put up infront of the world or just shut up now.

The GoP is doing nothing different from what the GoI and US are doing - there is no evidence provided to support the accusations of the latter two either.

Case in example, for years now the US media and officials have been ranting and whining about 'Osman is in Pakistan' and then a day ago Gates admits that they have absolutely no clue where he is, and all their assertions are based on 'speculation' that he is in the border regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

So asking the GoP to change, when the US and India continue with their own allegations without evidence, is hypocritical.
