Money. Also a lot of Arab countries have this socialist hangover from the cold war period where both India and many Arab countries (such as Egypt and Syria) were part of the Soviet bloc. Pakistan along with pre 79 Iran and Turkey was part of the NATO bloc however.

With regards to the UAE specifically, this Gargash got extremely pissed off when the parliament of Pakistan refused to participate in the Gulf coalition war in Yemen. (I suppose guys like him dont really know how democracies work so he can be excused on that part!)

Remember NS speech about Kargil and love for India and now the UAE stance (business love purely) and both subjects (UAE & NS) opposed Military in general. NS due to thrown out by Musharaf and UAE was denied military support by Pakistan in their conflict hence such opposition. However, NS and UAE leadership stance does not represent the populace mindset at all but latter doesn't effect when it comes to geo-politics. In all honesty, the general Arab populace is at best "indifferent" to Pakistan. Trust me, I am married to one and the extended family have the weirdest perceptions of who Pakistanis are. They were astounded to find out I was Pakistani for example because I am not dark. As per them Pakistanis are Tamil dark. Further they love Bollywood and have all kinds of romanticised notions of India. When I showed them what a big weapons importer India is of Israel they were again astounded because in their media, India is portrayed as a pro-Arab and friendly country.
