What's new

We Are All Harappans

Yeah, my family has intermarried with Pashtuns, Rajputs, Bhatts and Baluchis, but only the last one is part of my direct lineage AFAIK. The Rajputs my family intermarried with have also themselves intermarried with Persians.

Even when my family has married other Gujjars, they have often been from multiple different regions (Kashmir, Punjab and KPK).

I've recently been finding more and more about my family history by speaking with the older members of my family.

Sounds like you are from Central Punjab. I’m from the Lahore-Faisalabad area.

My family is originally from the Kashmir-East Punjab border region. Many of the Muslims were expelled or forced to flee by Indian soldiers during Partition.

I'm from Sarai Alamgir through my father, so that's the place I primarily identify with.

Yeah, life was hard back then, even before partition. One of my great-great grandparents was an Imam who got stabbed because he was Muslim.

Ever seen Jamaicans? They speak, read and write in a Anglo-Saxon language called English. They follow Christianity a Semite religion from Middle East with heavy Greco-Roman influence. Now tell me this? Can Jamaicans claim English/European heritage and masturbate over Rome?

The worst analogy used .....Did not expect this from you Kaptaan,

Vedas originated in current day Pakistan, a timeline of Rigveda 1500-1100 BC,
But follow up texts of Sanskrit / Vedic Sanskrit / Pali happened in around Ganga,

Vedas timeline: 1500-800 B, Location India / Pakistan
Upanishads timeline: 900-300 BC Location Ganga Valley
Mahayana Buddhist texts timeline: 200 BC - 100 AD Location Ganga Valley
Ramayan/ Gita/ Mahabharat timeline 400BC-400AD
Then Purans

There are no counterparts to above after 500 BC in Pakistan, It is clear that the people moved eastwards and settled there,
