water Bill cost me more than electric bill

I am luck as I cannot have a water meter due to my location and the unwillingness of the water company to spend millions to put a water meter.

Tell me you are jealous

Its not just one tax mate ..you have tax for every single thing out there lol
so obviously you enjoy better standard of living at cost of money ..save nothing at the end

I actually have opposite view.. they have deliberately kept tax rate low (compared to Scandinavian countries and even some european countries) and living by borrowing money... nobody wants to increase tax rate because its unpopular and it might even hurt consumer confidence.(spending).
so they are taxing in sneaky ways... 8.20 for GP fee... council tax etc.

Hey first of all, you don't need to be jealous if the poeple in Pakistan are getting something cheaper than yours..May Allah protect Pakistan and Pakistan people from the evil eyes.

Second what you are saying is not true..it depends on where you live in Pakistan. In most of the large cities, there are water meters and I pay the bills for my empty home (except for a guard and his family) in Pakistan.

Third, people in Pakistan are paying more in taxes and bills relative to their incomes vis-a-vis UK or any other country so your conclusion is flawed.

I think they should introduce tax on cyclists who are morons, most of them at least. Also license for keeping pets... (not against pets but dogs crap everywhere and cats destroy wildlife)

Mate, you should be thankful to Allah for what you have or we have...If I start comparing the taxes and fees I pay here in Sweden or even in USA, it will be much more than an average Pakistani would be earning but if I compare those bills relative to my income then those are a small fractions.
So we should be considerate to our brothers in Pakistan who are suffering under economic duress created by the corrupt regime of NS. They paying illogically higher amounts in the form of the taxes and fees.

I am not unthankful mate. I thank Allah in every situation. I was just comparing because when I was in Pakistan then I had witnessed that people always moan about things and were not grateful for those things which they had and often heard them saying that idar kuch b nhi ha ..Facilities come at the cost of money ..if people start charging the way malik raiz in bahria town do then they will obviously get same facilities in Pakistan i.e no load shedding, non stop water , gas etc

I love cats... hate cat owners... especially thouse who let their cat out to hunt.. these are killing machines
i never owned cat but I was staying at a place where they got cats(while traveling), one of the cats took instant liking of me(or so I thought) and kept brushing against my legs, jumped onto my bed.. started purring when I scratched side of or head... they owner told me the next day that the cat is very needy... lol

well we have to pay around 350 rupees for filtered tap water but 0 rupees for government supplied water in gilgit
but in islamabad it is like we pay 50 rupees as tax for unfiltered tap water so it is also bad here comparing the median house earnings.
