But PTI needs to remember this - Only THREE years are left and they have NOTHING to show to Karachi. NOTHING.

The simplest solution without disturbing constitution was to provide funds to Local MNAs and MPAs how PMLN used to do.. But the stubborn PM is not ready to do this..

Imagine 14 MNAs receiving 10 billion each with an oversight by Federal government. Bhutto waheen marjata.

There are many other ways one can make the life of provincial government difficult.. for example, delay in releasing the funds.. setting up NAB inquiries for every project a provincial government is involved in.. FIA going after each and evey MPA of provincial government and looking into their bank accounts etc.. This is how an intelligent government can force the provincial government to kneel down.... but nothing happened..

This lollipop of constitution will not work now.

Imran khan and his party is unable to understand that people in Karachi don't want to know about 18th amendment. They want drinking water instead of sewerage water in their homes.

If PTI intervenes sindh, the PPP can simply get them convicted by courts and thus have the relevant people disqualified if they re-attempt the same. Similarly, if they go for governor rule then this will make it impossible for any law to be passed in the senate.
The redistribution of senate seats is due after 2 years and until then PTI is hostage to PPP in the senate. The only other option is a forward block in PML-N or PPP.

In short for a sustainable change in Sindh, there is no hope for sindhis in general and Karachiites in particular, until either the 18th amendment or the boundaries of the province is not changed.

Sir you think interior punjab or sindh are illiterates ? Do you know all sindhis or pubjabis ? Dont be so sure. Not everyone wants separate province. Just so you know karachi isnt good because of urdu people alone its because it has multi ethnic people. Most of karachites have not even left karachi to see whole sindh as per my experience thats why they think they are facing water or electricity issue. Its common in hyderabad to have 12 hr loadshedding and no drinking water in whole jamshoro their are also tankers.

We will only win when we are together. Why do you think karachi is victim ? Khi mayor is from larachi many mpas are of karachi origin what is the issue then ? Same is case with interior sindh we have ppp people in control yet we dont even have basic necessities.
Be pakistani and educate others to be pakistani. If separate province is ur solution I dont mind just stop this hate.

Is that why plenty of federal bureaucracy seats allocated for hyper civilized and educated guys from Karachi remain vacant every year coz they don't have the ability to clear the written exams or for what purpose the guvt is considering to bring a sindh specific syllabus ? As for the illiterate part urban sindhs education institutes are a joke and iam not even counting those from rural sindh. Every duffer student in punjab who has the resources migrates to Karachi to get a degree in first div, easy peasy.

It's really sad to see the situation of Karachi and i hope establishment is keeping an eye on this matter since it's alienating Pakistan loving population. People of Karachi should not waste time on putting up hopes on any political parties but start putting up petitions against anything wrong. It's time/money consuming but will start putting those in charge check... it's not just government or who's in power but also bureaucracy, lower judiciary, police... People needs to start going to courts...

sir I am sindhi I have people in family who are chemist and national level hilaleimtiaz winners. My family has atleasr 5 chartered accountants and good ones. My uncle is phd from australia and was interviewed in bbc for his works. We are as good educated pakistanis as others dont undermine any province we all are good in someway

You can't just take fake degree now. Don't know which world you are living in but now you have to verify Matric and then higher education degree as well for admission in universities.

Do you have any proof of what you are saying? "systematically bringing illiterates from Sindh and Punjab?" If you talk about nepotism and favoritism i completely would back your point of view but this painting every issue of Karachi in terms of ethnic conspiracy needs to stop.

What I have realized.... that people of Karachi think PPP comes in power due to people living in interior sindh. And PPP behaves like it has conquered urban Sindh. PPP treats Urban sindh like it treats rural sindh.

People who haven't travelled to interior don't have an idea what the feudals do to poor farmers.. from stopping their water to kidnappings to even murdering opponents.. Recent killing of a Sindhi speaking journalist is a very good example of this.

But a common Karachiitte doesn't understand this. I know this because I have some connections in interior.

Karachi cannot become province. Pindi and beaucracy derive powers from combined punjab. If they divided sindh then they have to divide punjab. And karachi and saraiki will have 23 senators each which weakens pindi and north punjab authority in Pakistan. Unless they change the demography like India is doing in Jammu Kashmir. So its not possible. Karachiites are doing wrong by criticizing ppp or sindhis. They should unite with sindh or ppp and then jointly struggle for the rights. Otgerwise pindi and islamabad will keep smiling, destroying, fooling, killing and looting you all.

after the establishment of civil sectriate in multan and a seprate police IG ..south punjab is on its way to become a seprate province and you will not hear much noises in punjab in this regard .... nobody opposing the creation of south punjab ...on the other hand in lahore people vote not because of language or ethenicity but on the basis of devlopment works who ever will.perform will win in lahore... Who said anything about fake degrees? I said that the education institutes in Karachi run by hyper civilized folks are so piss poor that any Tom d and Harry can pass the exams. My dumb cousin is one of them, guy couldn't clear a matric exam here but no is anMBA. I can bet that an average student from Karachi despite enjoying every top of the notch education facility at his door step can't compete with an average punjabi student from rural background
