. .
Whole interior chose zulfiqar ali bhutto he was great leader. Tell me how many parties are there in interior to listen their voice imran literally ignored most of sindh never visited them and expect to get votes ? Interior only has ppp so by default ppp won. Azad umeedwars dont do anything you shud know that. I never have voted many of my family members didnt but in interior feudalism has forced poor people to vote or face consequences. Do you know the condition of sindhs second most developed city hyderabad ? Its destroyed mostly we are not happy man so are you we all are facing something. Try to understand we are so depressed about personal life due to expenses majority have no time to hate its just useless
You are right bro. I am 100 percent with you.

Speaking about pti government, it's a pathetic loser govt as far as Karachi is concerned. I don't know about the rest of Pakistan.

The Change (PTI's Tabdeeli) was travelling in Karachi's public transport. Oh wait, It doesnt exist.

. . . .
It is settled that PTI is incapable and handicapped in Karachi's affairs.

PM Imran Khan interview confirmed this. He himself said he is helpless in Karachi affairs as Sindh province manages everything.

Therefore,

I politely ask all 14 PTI Karachi seatholders to resign effective immediately. Thanks for your non-service to this forsaken city.

.
Why beg him for Karachi. After 18th amendment, there is just very little that he can do. lets look at some facts.... most of what Pakistan earns or gathers, go to a) Debt servicing b) provincial share .
What the center is left with is not enough for the uplift of Karachi, as every penny can not be spent there. Karachi was destroyed over the last 2 to 3 decades and concentrated efforts are required for a decade or more to rectify everything. One or two projects here and there won't make a difference.

Comparatively, lahore was improved over 2 - 3 decades by mainly the provincial government and by the local government as well. Orange train, Metro buses, green belts, storm drains were made by pervaiz elahi, shahbaz sharif and others by using provincial government.
The same should happen in Sindh in general and Karachi in particular. I have travelled all over sindh and every place has a story of its own but this is not the thread to discuss this.

1- What kamran khan and the rest of the media should do is to enlighten the people about the importance of local bodies, about the rights of people, about the restrictions imposed by the 18th amendments and bash the PPP when it talks of anti-Sindh actions or anti 18th amendments. 2- I myself have seen 2 or 3 times when Sindh transport ministers have given dates for running new buses or transport system but to no avail... why have they not been slaughtered?
3 -Why is it that the Sindh CM is not shown the mirror when he comes on-air and says that majority of work was already done and NDMA is just completing the small part that was left.
4- Why was the Nai ganj dam left for over 5 years and was started after repeated interventions by the Supreme court. The recent flood would have been prevented largely if the dam was complete and not stopped midway. is the center responsible for that as well?
5- Why is there no program on lack of street lighting and garbage in Karachi? Comparatively the current Punjab government was rightfully slaughtered when they were unable to provide the same in Lahore.
6- Why is it that media does not go to Benazirabad (nawabshah) and ask people where 4-6 billion were spent in the city to improve the drainage system there. Has media shown the conditions in safoora goth, bhains colony, gujjar colony, eisa colony etc.?
7- Karachi garbage collection, street lights, parks, green belt, anti-encroachment drives, etc need funds that need to be handed over by the provincial government and not the center. The city mayor is on record that he has received a few billion rupees only. Should center give money to city government while the provincial government plunders the amount for their personal benefits and then when asked they should threaten federation and unity?

One must remember that PPP is governing Sindh province for a decade if not more and within the last decade, we have repeatedly seen the same issues again and again. These include destruction by rainwater, encroachments of drains, contaminated or no drinking water being available to masses, mobile snatching, street crimes, lack of public transportation, encroachments in saddar, lines area, lighthouse, Pakistan chowk, qaidabad and china cutting. All these are the responsibilities of local government, police and provincial government. The interior minister of Sindh, the city government of Karachi, transport minister of Sindh, town planning, kwsb and the dozens of sindh ministers leading various government offices are responsible and NOT the center.

Center is there to initiate country-level projects or mega projects e.g sindh barrage, kannup, port development etc. After the 18th amendment provincial governments have full authority on funds, city schemes and daily management of cities. Center can only intervene when asked for by the provincial government which in other words means that the provincial government says its beyond us. Repeal the 18th amendment and return the rights to the center if you want them to act without imposing governor rule or starting a sindhi-punjabi conflict. If

At the least, its time the channel/media owners grow a pair, get ready to being blacklisted on cable networks, their correspondents being threatened, officers and workers being harassed.... while they show PPP the mirror in karachi, hyderabad, ghotki, sukker, rohri, khairpur, larkana, nawabshah and all over Sindh, where money is being spent since decades on paper only. IF you cant do that.... then stop barking at the wrong tree.

.
simple solution is to have two sindhs upper sindh an lower sindh.
this doesnt mean dividing sindh and it would still be sindh

remember this needed as if not done Punjab will be over-represented in senate once its split into two
i think KPK and Balochistan should also be split into two

Whataboutism, blame game time is gone.

Every kid in Karachi knows PPP govy is corrupt.

The question is, what exactly is Federal Govt doing to tackle it?

Currently it seems they have kneeled down to the thugs. The all party committee (sab mil ke kaam kareingay, joke) lollipop is old and tested in the past.

As I said in my previous reply, if Federal govt is handicapped, then PTI 14 seats should submit resignation.

agree, let them resign and elect PPPP they will help karachites like they have done in the past

.
What were your thoughts on the IK response?... Are you concerned that there was not enough on any tangible deliverables and more about blame the other?

PM Khan has not even visited Karachi for quite a time...He has gone to Peshawar and Lahore but he didn't come to Karachi.

What makes me worry is that PTI's reputation is taking a hit here. If Khan had landed in Karachi, people would have assumed that PTI is doing something or PM is interested in Karachi.

PTI is leaving a vacuum in Karachi.

On this topic - On Khan's response, I believe he is not that simple man. He may be has some plan for Karachi which he does not want to reveal on TV.

I really hope.

PPP, PTI, MQM, Che Guevera, Nostradamus whatever

Karachiites have seen and survived everything. In sha Allah, with the help of Almighty, we can survive more.

But, hypocrisy is intolerable
