What's new

Watch Iron Fist of Mighty IAF.

Acc. to Jagran News the Sukhoi aborted it because a Black Buck herd came near target zone.

images

I find this rather odd.....after all the previous rocket and bombing attacks, these animals were still lingering in the firing range. The sound would normally bolt any animal.
Pokhran Desert Area is full of Black Bucks.
During the 1965 War PAF jets mistook some Black bucks for IA Soldiers and strafed them killing 6 Deers.:rofl:Found this info in a Bishnoi Village.

And yet the Indian pilot was able to see and distinguish them.....so he aborted the attack. ??

. .
iaf pilots are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy sub-par, and inferior than the top-notch PAF flyboys who have successfully fought indians, afghans, russians, and israelis...

Not to mention, PAF guys deployed in Turkey regularly fly against and "with" Israeli Air Force :azn:
And needless to mention that the supah dupah PAF also defeated the Imperial Galactic Federation! :P

. .
@Windjammer most probably Jagran news will answer your queries, sure they have contact email on their website.
BTW BB's are very common on Jaisalmer area.I even tried feeding them in childhood days there.

Too much radiation exposure in phokran has made those animal resistant to sound bolt!

There are serious gaps for ground demos and breaks inbetween most of the ground strikes so there was ample time for the animals to linger back. In fact for the period immediately before the MKI's run there wasn't a single ground strike for hours as it had been the IAF's SILENT display team and a NSG mock assualt and then a break.

+ there are ground spotters who saw the animal and called off the run, the pilots probably didn't see a thing.

Nice attempt at trolling though bud!

+ @Windjammer in the same way urban foxes and pigeons in London are now emboldened around humans and not scared to come into contact with us because of the constant exposure to high numbers of people, these animals live on a FIRING RANGE so it is not out of the realms of possibility that they have adapted to an extent to such bomb strikes and are less susceptible to being scared.

Now?

Results of previous wars should've been enough to show you how inferior, sub-quality iaf really is...

While PAF lands its nuclear-capable fighter aircrafts (Miraages III/Vs ROSE IIs) on motorways, pathetic iaf can't even hit card boards/ fake targets :woot:

Dude, the IAF has demonstrated its ground attack skills more than often enough in real combat. (During Kargil, the pin point attack on Dakha or during Longewala when 6 fighters annihilated an entire tank regiment just to name a few)

What you see in those videos are no combat performances, just show. You can analyse them as long as you want but they remain mere speculation of your own.

.
yes during Kargil it was pin point accuracy .. we should not rule out that IF today's targets were missed :)

.
watch the movie buffalo soldiers and you will get a hint. the bigger the budget and bigger the size, harder it is to audit, control and enforce compliance. some things that look too obvious and too simple to address takes months to implement and thats where you see some bulky organisations outsource specialist operations to smaller, leaner companies.

@Irfan Baloch, reminds me of this:

Thanks for sharing.
They could easily edited the part where it did not hit target, if iaf had some propganda.

Exactly, Some of the capabilities are not entirely used here and the names of the Top pilots in IAF are always kept secret and will not advertise as in the video.

What's the point? Any nation that underestimates the power of the IAF are idiots. These are "fresh" pilots, I think TARMAK blog has already pointed out that most of the MKI pilots/WSOs are just out of training and this exercise was scheduled to coincide with the end of the IAF's training year. MKI pilots train 300+ hours on their MKIs which is more than most frontline fighter pilots.

@Abingdonboy , mate what is there to troll, it's not as if a competition is under way, i was merely making some valid point.
Any ways i don't want to spoil your fun but just to let you know this issue of Black Bucks appearing on the range is a **** and bull story.....apparently there was a communication break down between the pilot and ground or something....any ways please continue with the topic.

IAF full capabilities were not used here like latest tech and all, Even Browne acknowledged it in his statement today
