Although I have deep respect for Hinduism I am still forced to say that we Buddhists also suffered at the hands of Brahmin Hindus. The strategy of placing Hindu idols in the mosque, church, pagoda is nothing new and Brahmins used the same strategy for many Buddhist temple as well for centuries.

Many of our Buddhist temples and sites have been taken away by Brahmin Hindus of which we could recover some of them.

Even our most sacred pilgrimage site, the Bodh Gaya was taken away by Brahmin Hindus. Until the 19th century, bodh Gaya was under the custody of Brahmin Hindus. They claimed that the bodh Gaya complex belongs to Lord Jagannath, still now there is a jagannath temple exactly In the place where Lord Buddha gained enlightenment. Brahmin Hindus also build a Shiva temple inside the Mahabodhi complex.

Brahmin Hindus call Buddha as 9th avatar of Lord Vishnu and they used this belief of theirs to grab Buddhist temples and Buddhist pilgrimage sites throughout India.

But brother the condition of minorities living in many Muslim countries is also not compatible with the 21st century standard.

Hindus and Sikhs had to leave Afghanistan due to Taliban, Christians are attacked in Egypt, Iraq, Syria elsewhere.Some years ago a church was destroyed in Egypt.
