Of course it is shifting of goal post. Planetary configuration was only one of their many recommendations. The others were about diet and the environment at home and mantras. Their claim was also not just restricted to the physical attributes of the child but its mental, spiritual, and psychological aspects to.
You are clearly contradicting yourself, i.e., there was much more to the recommendations hence I didn't shift the goal post. I have been vindicated.
Humour aside, the part that I feel is troublesome is the subtle racism that somehow "dark-skinned" human beings are lesser. Hence, one must aspire to fair complexion or grow taller. I don't think there is any religious subtext here.

The parents may have lower IQ, with a poor educational background, but their baby can be extremely bright. If the proper procedure is followed, babies of dark-skinned parents with lesser height can have fair complexion and grow taller.
