In just one day, the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William are set to embark on their first official tour of Pakistan.

Preparations are in full swing for the Royal duo to touch down in the country, including some colourful and vivacious rickshaws. On the roads of Rawalpindi and Lahore, locals want Kate and William to experience the full desi cultural experience Pakistani style.

The UK in Pakistan Twitter account shared a video with the hashtag #RoyalVisitPakistan, depicting bright paints and men creating a work of art on the vehicles. This includes the flag of Britain and the flag of Pakistan side by side displayed on the beautifully decorated rickshaw.

Peacocks, intricate patterns and a myriad of designs were intricately painted onto the rickshaw, which displayed Royal Visit Pakistan on the back. The lovingly crafted South Asian vehicle is just one many experiences people are eagerly awaiting William and Kate to enjoy, as well as new tastes and sights.

During an engagement at the Aga Khan Center in London, William and Kate Middleton recently met with prominent British-Pakistani figures, including 2017 MasterChef winner, Dr. Saliha Mahmood Ahmed.

On the topic of Pakistani food, Prince William shared some insight into his relationship with spicy eats. “Love[d] spice, but not heat. “Me and heat, not so good,” the father-of-three noted.

Meanwhile, it doesn’t sound like Kate has any issue with spiciness. “It’s so hard cooking curry in the family. The children have a portion with no spice, yours is medium,” the duchess said to William. “And I quite like it hot.”

It sounds like the couple’s only daughter, 4-year-old Princess Charlotte, takes after her mom as Kate said she is “pretty good” with heat.

Anglos will never change. They will always, always be incredibly subversive and manipulative...
says a person who took his boree bistar and moved in with Anglos and French.

had I truly believed you to be an actual Pakistani, I would have asked you to refuse over a quarter of a billion Pounds per annum being given by UK towards Pakistan social security scheme, as well as reconstruction cost of Azad Kashmir infrastructure. but since you are a fraud we'll keep things as they are until real Pakistan objects.

how's brexit turning out for you?

They are coming , because they know , Pak PM can speak english and also won't ask for any foreign aid ...imagine if Nawaz or Zardari welcome them....

.
It is a good development, will have impact on the over all image of Pakistan. As i said in another thread thanks to the past 30+ rule of the likes of Nawaz, PPP Benazir, Zardari, Musharraf Pakistan's image was completely tarnished. From a country where foreigners once waited on Bus stand in Balochistan to becoming a no go area, this is what our image became. On top of that we had a cunning neighbor like India who utilized these opportunities to its fullest and cleverly labelled genuine Kashmiri movement for liberation into Pakistani sponsored terrorism. It is only now that for the first time there is a government which is working for the interest of Pakistan. Yes he is not perfect and there will always be flaws but his past 1 year alone has brought enough change in Pakistan's international image that countries including superpowers are now looking at Pakistan to broker peace deals whether its between Taliban and US or Saudi Arabia and Iran. This shows his character.
Now coming back to the topic the visit of Prince and Duchess to Pakistan will be highlighted across all global western media. Their successful trip and taking good memories from Pakistan will open doors for foreigners to visit Pakistan. Out tourism industry which was destroyed due to 9/11 is slowly but surely coming back to life. Such visits further boost this industry. This is what India does project soft power and mold world's opinion into its favor. We need to do the same and thankfully PM Khan is the man to do it.

Good for Pakistan. Positive exposure is welcome.

Last time royal family visited in 2006... just before everything went to shit because of terrorism.

So royals created terrorism. Not RAW and its allies.

Mixed feelings.

Anglos will never change. They will always, always be incredibly subversive and manipulative...
Spot on. Completely agree. Why we can't counter them?

slaves will welcome their masters with open hearts!
Slaves don't have a choice. A tiny country is one of the biggest economy of the world. We need to get rid of shitty politicians first
