Gents, let me be clear about one thing. Like all of you, I hate war, humanity loses when people cant put their egos on the side and reach a conclusion. 70 years have passed without delivering justice to people of Kashmir. There is no option left besides going to war.
This thread is not about pros and cons of war but about two objectives

1) what will it take to liberate Kashmir
2) what will it take to put subz hilal parcham on red fort.

Your pick 1 or 2 , rules are simple. Describe what will you do as a leader to reach your objectives...

Some points to ponder..

1) wars are won by moving reserves and material at the right time
2) number is reserves to put pressure or to relieve pressure, like a chess game
3) firepower and the speed with which you can deliver

What will you do from galvanizing civilians, to manufacturing, to armed young men, how big, where will u focus and how will you get to your objectives ...

War sometime is a mean for lasting peace for next Generation.. I will share my input soon..

  • Raise Troops about 2 Million to 2.5 Million

Pak was the frontline state against communism, and won...

Pak was the frontline state against terrorism, and won...

Now, Pak is the frontline state against Hidutuva Demons, and will win by HIS PERMISSION...

Pakistan worked hard to reach those two objectives ...
the enemy is big, powerful 200 pound gorilla, you are nimble, need stamina and speed to defeat it ...
How will you fight this war? Man power a mill plus, with heavy arms, Anti tank for hitting heavy targets ??Manpads ? Short range missiles ?
Where will you thrust in enemy territory , terrain is difficult, lightly armed and nimble ? With some heavy armed infantry men ?
Plan? Execution, time ?

Keep in mind your enemy will react fiercely with multiple fronts.. how much deep can u go?? Indus River as last boundary ??? Think ???

Historically speaking, if anybody in the world can do it then it's Pak for they've done it before!!! Not may be overtly, but no dearth of covert support would be there IMO!!!

2 Million, like raising 100 Divisions of infantry men ? How much time to train them 9 months ? What kind of weapons for infantry div ?
How many People in manufacturing ? How many supply people ? How many trucks ? How much time
How will you counter new front in sind, Punjab ?

A human learns to survive in 24 hours , if their family's life depends on it

If I knew a killer was outside my home , and I had a gun for self defence
I would pick that weapon up and defend my own family, it takes not advance skill to pull the trigger

Basic fire arms training should not take more then 2-3 sessions

As I said , Open introduction of Kashmir's own population to register themselves in special Military force

IMO a right #of major pushes with the covert international support (like today's UNSC meeting), and they'll fall like a card of decks (02-27 being the case)!!!

Kashmir is a 45 km zone , and all mountains and terrain thru woods , you can move with basic hike gear to achieve you objective

I am sure if Kashmiri today were given self defence weapons they would win their own freedom

The so called "International" community has not put a single serious Sanction on India for last 70 years

Kashmiri can move in basic vehicles as long as we can get your Indian troop and put a round thru their head

Indians are war criminals

Most of the pak army moves in open Toyotas, uses WWII era G3s you are unable to upgrade them ... And here you are talking of raising 100 Divs ... Sure go ahead... Exactly the thing India wants

Pakistan is the largest producer of AK47.. light and nimble.. produced by local markets as well.. for mountain warfare thats good enough. Pakistan needs anti tank groups and heavy machine gun groups within a company to properly attack kashmir...
pakistan just needs to work on it...

.
Just open invite 2 million Kashmiri Soldiers , give them our Passport too

Nothing will happen with Demo , and chats and songs .... the world is not showing Kashmiri news !!! They are covering sports stories and covering Bieber and Britney or Jackie chan news

Vs. India it's really not that simple. While many think of asymmetrical warfare as the solution, I don't agree that it is. It was one thing for the US to fight against the Taliban and the various groups in Iraq in an asymmetrical warfare situation, as they were solely aimed at one thing-getting the US to say "enough is enough" and quit-and that took nearly two decades to get done.
With India, it's right on their border. Lose AJK and they loose out on water resources, they loose out on a relatively underpopulated area that they can add to, and they have better troop mobility and strategic depth at lower cost than the US would have ever been able to project.
So how does Pakistan win this war? Tough question. You would have to get the Indian army to be forced to respond to a second front SOMEWHERE. Whether that's China going after the chicken's neck in eastern India, whether that's getting a Kashmiri or Sikh uprising in AJK or Indian Punjab, there has to be some form of internal disunity within India. If Kashmir is going to rebel, they have to do so of their OWN accord.
I don't think a conventional war would necessarily favor Pakistan. India is simply too popular and has too much money to run out of resources, whereas Pakistan is trying to rebuild its economy as we speak. While I've seen the talk of Chinese coming to Pakistan's aid, even assuming that happens will likely mean air power, not ground forces-the Karakoram highway isn't going to favor the crossing of hundreds of thousands of troops and their associated mechanized divisions-it's simply not big enough and you know that India will target it to prevent Chinese intervention.
Pakistan would be best suited to wage a war of resource deprivation. India is fielding a ton of forces in the area, and they have more land to defend. Use strategic strikes to eliminate munitions depots and fuel supplies-while both can be replaced from reserves, eventually a large army will need a lot of supplies, and given long enough, from outside of India. Without fuel and bullets, missiles, and things to fire, the Indian army will eventually end up being an empty gun that can be taken en mass. Stationing as many submarines as possible near Mumbai and other Indian naval ports may check the INS for a time, although the Pakistan Navy doesn't have fleet or the air support to maintain a blockade against India.
This will also aide Pakistan's cause as India is already looking quite bad on the international front. Given long enough, the war will lose support within the ordinary Indian, who will wonder why Pakistan hasn't been overrun yet seeing as they"re "technologically inferior".
Forming multiple militias would also help. Pakistan as a country has more gun culture than even the US-most people own a gun of some kind. Having militia garrisons at every major city frees up the Pakistan Army to fight India at the front lines, and also would make the cost of victory for India very, very high, even if they break through the Pakistani lines. Those militias could also be used to open a second front, assuming a strategic airlift capability is available. This is actually where China could help the most. They currently have 29 strategic airlifters, 22 IL-76 and 7 Xian Y-7s. I'm not sure how many forces they could fit, but with air support they could potentially land troops behind Indian lines to cause a lot of trouble.
