The video posted below it... Neither the vehicle nor the troops, seeing they uniform, appear to be from Pakistan army.

If you ever have watched(watch) the movie “Thirteen days” - Kenneth o donnel who was special assistant to Kennedy is seen asking a U-2 pilot about to fly over Cuba not to get shot down.
The pilot explains they are going over hostile airspace with SAMs and other aspects of which any one could go wrong but the insistence is dont get shot down or killed… his concern was with the US needing to attack or intervene in that case which would escalate the situation.

However, it seems today the insistence is that regardless of equipment or not - military elements shouldn’t get killed or otherwise.. even if they operate in hostile environments with people looking to kill them…
Perhaps a new directive should come down based upon the sentiment here..

“Dont get killed or we will end up being disparaged needlessly…”

And Im sure if it is passed through some local commander will ask “So what are we to do instead? Ask hostile elements politely not to shoot a bullet traveling at 1200fps at us because our social media likes will suffer?”

I hope you know that the stakes are higher now. The momentum for long march rests on a thumping victory in these by-elections and if PTI were to lose here, the morale built after july 17 results would plummet.
Now onto the cold hard facts. There are seats where IK was holding a razor thin margin (Mardan) or losing (Malir). Riddle me this, is there a candidate in PTI who can hold his own in those odds. E.g. here is the breakdown for the mardan seat in 2018. This is what PTI is up against. Ali Muhammad Khan barely won that seat in 2018.

So a vote for IK is basically a vote in the drain - as he can't keep all these seats

Yes, we should all vote against IK so that the opposing candidate win and go to the parliament and work for the betterment of our country.

I know right? Stupid IK. Rather than forcing the state to conduct elections again and again.he should have let them go for the ideal solution which is to conduct elections for half the assembly 9 seats at a time.

Exactly. Helping IK win these by elections takes us one step closer to general elections. That's what these people who and nagging about 'he won't sit in the assembly' don't understand. No one's in this for fixing your problems. For IK, it's a way to increase pressure for early elections. For the chors, it's a way to cling on to power for as long as they can and complete NRO 2

This election isn't about the assembly for either party. No subsequent election will be other than the general elections. So, if you want those, your best bet is IK. because the other lot is clinging onto power like it's the last time they'll see it. They already saw they could befall them in IK short stint in power, so they'll make sure to complete NRO 2 so and close the doors on accountability for their past misdeeds forever.
