Yes no doubt China is far ahead but we are also progressing.

Haha, which one should we believe?

Top 20 Country by Total Electricity Generation (1973-2018)

Mate you are comparing apples with oranges...the previous post showed distribution of electricity...the luminosity in the satellite pic shows the density of population that is generally proportional to developed areas...you can see how much luminosity is there in Tibet or otherwise in China.....whereas your video describes electricity generation... so your comparison is not related.

I prefer to small cities full of job opportunities. Unfortunately small towns can only provide limited jobs like telecom company, officials, teacher, transportation...

I have shown more than 30 cities OTHER THAN the big 5 super cities I mentioned early, i.e., Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chongqing. There are still hundreds of cities which have amazing skyline:
And devil lies detail, pls see this thread and give a closer look at Chinese cities:

Before I start the big 5, I will close this section with the true Bihar of China, the city of Lanzhou in China's poorest province Gansu::enjoy:

And a county-level city, the lowest tier of Chinese cities:
