Both on and off the field, Virat Kohli continues to win hearts. If it’s performances with the bat are not enough, Kohli’s off-field warm conduct is earning him a lot of fans, both in and outside India. This time, even in Pakistan.

Kohli wouldn’t have been a hero of sorts in the neighbouring country. Why? Blame his terrific run with the bat against the arch-rivals. May it be his heroic innings of 183 in Asia Cup 2012, where the Right hander ensured India chase the target of 330 comfortably.

After team India registered their first Test win outside the sub-continent under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, they are all set for the second Test to be played in Kingston.

Virat who scored his first Test double hundred during the opening Test in Antigua, had a special message for one of his millions of fans in Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar’s kid.

Hasan Dar sent a video to his idol through his father, who is among the team of umpires officiating in the ongoing Test series in West Indies.

To which, Indian Test captain responded by sending a motivational message to Dar junior, advising the budding cricketer to keep working hard and keep faith in his dream.

Kohli also promised to send Hasan an autographed bat and invited him to meet him next time his father officiates an Indian game.

The Kohli-led Indian cricket team will return to the action on Saturday for the second Test, with an aim to register yet another win and make the four-match series safe. Once again, Kohli will hold the key for the visitors as he will attempt to build on his 200 in the first Test.

He is already favorite of many in Pakistan for his batting skills. There is no denial of that.

. . . . .
The only respectable cricketer India ever produced is Sunil Gawasker...the rest if the run of the mill stuff. Anyway, I watched his video and I liked his little gesture :)

Actually in front of Sachin,Virat is sort of thug. But he is a run machine nonetheless.

Everyone has a right of opinion.

Mark my words that Virat will win more matches for India than Sachin

Virat will be idolised for his commitment and strong character like no other cricketer

Aren't you comparing Sachin when he started and Sachin when retired . Virat is still a kid if you compare him with the giant, it will be unbiased let him spend some more years on crease then we will compare..

Indian Team in 90s are nowhere near to the team in 2016.So it is pretty obvious that We'll win more matches..

Compare Indian Team in 90s with SA,AUS,PAK,Eng,SL or even ZIM teams.

And now compare Indian Team in 2016 with same teams.

Tendulkar was a great batsman . . .. but the strange thing with him was that the longer he stayed on the crease the more the chances of india were to loose the match , i remember one match with ireland where sachin almost or maybe made a double hundred and i bet with my cousin that india would loose, and guess what india did loose :D.
With kohli its quite the opposite, he is a match winner, he makes a 40 and it feels like india would win already, his zeal for win and his compassion for his game is exemplary . . . . as much as i hate him :D he is a great player, he is zidane of the cricketing world :enjoy:

Agreed !!!

But Sachin is the GOD of cricket and he was playing for India Wasn't He ???

BUT MARK MY WORDS when you will compare the Indian winning ratio of matches attributed to performances of Sachin AND Virat even then Virat will win hands down

Yeah Virat Kohli is a brilliant Batsman. He is the first Indian captain to score a double century outside India in test matches. And guess what made it more special - Sir Viv Richards was on commentary when he did that.:D
