Read carefully, in this thread, the Chinese members could freely call the Viets as "monkey", so don't expect the Chinese mod here to warn people for calling a nuke strike against other country. Just read that HK booing Chinese anthem thread. @Peter C didn't break any rule but got banned anyway, while the Chinese members in that thread called the Vietnamese as "monkey" without suffering any consequences. If it gets too much, the mod will just delete those posts to save face for them, but hardly ban them. Hence, you will find out that most Chinese members here will always troll and insult other people because they have a free pass to do so.

And yes, non-Chinese members, especially Vietnamese will get banned for minor things like "off-topic/post of no values".

besides, there are some mistakes in the article. k-300p (yakhont) is a cruise missile, not ballistic. second, it is too far for the missile, out of range 300km, from vietnam shore to hainan submarine and surface warship base.
no, it is more a task for the kilo subs to attack the base.

edit: I just realize if we move the yahont on the closest distance facing to hainan, we can target yulin and yalong naval bases.

But I think the mods here is fine most of the times，I once got banned for posting a vietnamese CPR video，I thought it was funny but now come to think of it，I probably deserved the ban

Thanks for tagging! Just curious why me? I don't usually comment on CN-VN threads. Alright, it looks like some posters from both sides have made very hateful, even hawkish and extremely radical, comments, as always! Well let's argue sensibly, and make more constructive use of our time on the keyboard.

As I said, personally I can understand the hate, the war was so bad, a horrific geopolitical tragedy, and that contemporary China is obliged to offer every possible and fair assistance on Vietnam's path back to prosperity.

You probably got banned because the clip you posted is of a dead guy (although they tried to save him). Even if the mod want to save you, he will not be able to because posting photos/pics of dead people is something that the webmaster will not tolerate.

The mod can save you by deleting your post before anyone sees it. But if someone already quoted your video/pics, then that is evidence against you and the mod will have no choice but to ban you. That is something you will learn to pick up in this forum.
