Of course there won't be any war. China is Vietnam's largest trading partner -- both enjoy bilateral trade that now exceeds $60 Billion per annum. There is so much inter-dependability between the two. The more the reason why both will exhaust diplomatic measures.I doubt there will be any shooting over a couple of islands.

Secondly, you can't kill 90 million people. History has shown time and again, that when put pressure, civilian population only retaliates. Japan tried doing that with China, even US tried doing that with Vietnam.

Thirdly, any person with any conscience will HATE China than. You won't only be isolated, the conscientious people among yourselves will rebel.
