Vietnamese school children are 'years ahead' of Indian pupils

Comrade, please try to understand the difference between a friend and an ALLY !

ALLY is some one with whom you have signed military/defence treaties. You may call Pakistan an ally if China and PAkistan have signed some secret defence treaty to protect/promote each other. NATO countries are allies of USA.

Do I need to explain, who is a 'friend' as well to you ?

If you still do not understand the difference, I am sorry to say that, you are one sick Chinese (False Flagger of course) who do not even understand some basic English trying to troll as per your Master's commandments !

To answer your ABSURD question, India is not an ALLY of either Russia or USA or any country in the world per se. PERIOD !!!

The population of Taiwan is 98% Han Chinese. Taiwan also doesn't recognize India's occupation of South Tibet. Who is false flagging?

OK then, if you are not Chinese then you are a SICK Taiwanese

Taiwan recognising South Tibet has no impact whatsoever  First resolve the difference between ROC and PRC and then talk about South Tibet if at all you are really a Taiwanese

Is it OK to start some thread comparing (negatively) between China and Pakistan?

The article is from UK

I believe if the study was carried out in Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos etc the results would be pretty much the same.

Vietnam Emerges As Key Indian Ally in the South China Sea | Peace and Freedom

A small excerpt from the article is as below. And now we can close the fuss over the word Ally with our Chinese friends.

"Given that Vietnam and India use similar Russian and erstwhile Soviet defence platforms, New Delhi could easily offer defence technologies to Hanoi. Talks are ongoing for India to sell the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, an Indo-Russian joint venture. Such arms could allow Vietnam to project regional power and improve deterrence against China.

The two nations also have stakes in ensuring sea-lane security, as well as shared concerns about Chinese access to the Indian Ocean and the South China Sea. Hence, India is helping Vietnam to build capacity for repair and maintenance of its defence platforms. At the same time, the armed forces of the two states have started cooperating in areas like IT and English-language training of Vietnamese Army personnel. The two are also sharing their experiences in mountainous and jungle warfare.

Naval cooperation, however, remains the focus. Here, Vietnam has given India the right to use its port of Nha Trang in the south; the Indian Navy has already made several port calls. It is not entirely clear what the final arrangement would look like, but the symbolism of this is not lost on China."

The word ALLY has been used incorrectly in the title of the article.

Do you call your friend as an ally in general ?

I understand that, this is not an English language improving forum, however, there's a key difference between a friend and an Ally !

If you think, I am incorrect, would you mind explaining ?

We are arguing over a silly matter.By the way, enjoy this pathetic romantic poem.Anything for Vietnam :D

All the controversies about the indian education and indian student's poor IQ started after the Pisa test 2009.... There is an another side about this result.. India pulled out of the 2012 round of PISA testing, in August 2012, with the Indian government attributing its action to the unfairness of PISA testing to Indian students... The test was somewhat biased...
The reasons are...

what do you expect from your poor government other than finding stupid excuses

1. Students selected from India are from very rural areas of himachal pradesh and tamil nadu not from delhi or kerala... But for china selected from top schhools of shanghai...

No. other parts of China which participated in mock tests also perfomed well at par or better than OECDs

'Incredible resilience'

The Pisa 2009 tests showed that Shanghai was top of the international education rankings.

But it was unclear whether Shanghai and another chart-topper, Hong Kong, were unrepresentative regional showcases.

Mr Schleicher says the unpublished results reveal that pupils in other parts of China are also performing strongly.

"Even in rural areas and in disadvantaged environments, you see a remarkable performance."

In particular, he said the test results showed the "resilience" of pupils to succeed despite tough backgrounds - and the "high levels of equity" between rich and poor pupils.

"Shanghai is an exceptional case - and the results there are close to what I expected. But what surprised me more were the results from poor provinces that came out really well. The levels of resilience are just incredible.

"In China, the idea is so deeply rooted that education is the key to mobility and success."

2. The test was conducted by OECD...OECD member countries are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom (UK), United States (USA)and OECD Partner Economies are Albania, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chinese taipei (Taiwan), Colombia, Croatia, Dubai (UAE), Hong Kong-China, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Macao-China, Montenegro, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Shanghai-China, Singapore, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uruguay. INDIA WAS THE ONLY OESD NON MEMBER PARTICIPATED IN PISA 2009... So it is said tobe biased to help some developed economies...

Bull Shiiiit!

OECD non members but partners with:
Russia, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, South Africa
Members and partners - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development

3.The Indian Express reported on 9/3/2012 that "The ministry (of education) has concluded that there was a socio-cultural disconnect between the questions and Indian students. The ministry write to the OECD and drive home the need to factor in India's "socio-cultural milieu".
Are there any other countries making these remarks other than india? This is pure nonsence from the cheerleaders

Some experts suggested India's poor performance may be linguistic...

this is more ridiculous
The tests was conducted in the participating countries' language

In June 2013, the Indian government, still concerned with the future prospect of fairness of PISA testing relating to Indian students, again pulled India out from the 2015 round of PISA testing.

The excuse is shameful for the cheerleaders' government
The bunch of chickens are letting their students down and off to the road of perdition!
It sounds like the test was prejudiced against the indian students while the other participating countries took the tests and results with great pro-active attitudes

Yindoo, even the pro Taiwan independence President Chen Shui-bian referred to himself and all the Taiwanese he was addresing in a speech as "Chinese", he said it at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in 2003. What makes you think Taiwan likes india? The official language in Taiwan is Mandarin like the mainland. And Taiwanese language is the same as the Minnan dialect which is spoken in southern Fujian province in mainland China.

thats goo news... should be an inspiration for kids in india...!! healthy copetition is always good..!!!

5 cents deduction for one week  for chibots for failed attempt to incite war b/w India and Vietnam members....

That's too kind of you. More likely, the user behind that profile name will be replaced with a more dedicated Communist cadre member by the Red Guard.

You just killed a common, innocent Chinese citizen who has to say all this at gunpoint.
