Seems counter intuitive, I mean no leader in China or Japan would want to rule over a retarded nation who cant compete with neighbors. They always try to outdo one another. We live in a global world and these leaders have to deal with global powers, so what if you are the fuedal of a piss poor nation. I guess I just dont see the pride in that.
