You are right. I've been reading on Tokyo's private railway a lot, that's why people commute for such a long distance every day. I like Keio Line most, red car with special engine sound(like do-ri-mi-fa-so). People dwell in 橫濱 or 千葉 where prices are acceptable.

Yup yup ! The cost of living is so darn expensive in Tokyo !!

ps. cute reference to Sound of Music. :D

Frankly I am not so interested in culture stuffs..
Personally I love beach, seafood and hot ladies!

LOL! Well then, go on my brother, go on. ;)

Yeah, the system is rigged, everybody is into it. If you walk on Sukhumvit road you'll get 2 or 3 offers per block.

How is Phili compared to Thailand in that aspect? I know there is quite a lot going on there too.

Nothing like that at all in Philippines. Philippine society is still very strict with conservative moral values. Like literally at 12 noon, every church plays the Angelus, and Filipino people stop what they're doing and pray. Even in the malls, or super markets they play that on the loud speakers. I really admire that about them.

It is not as liberalized like in Thailand where sex is a major industry. I guess thats one reason why i like Philippines more than Thailand --- as i have more of a conservative mindset.

Bangkok is a steam bath, 24 hours a day, most of the year. Even worse than Guangzhou-Shenzhen area which is to say a lot.

Actually, lots of families go to Thailand and they like it, but if you are just a man or a group of men, the locals will constantly offer you the "special services". Still, most of the special activities are concentrated in just a few spots, Bangkok has 3 of those spots, if you don't go there, then you don't see anything about that.

right @Nihonjin1051 ?

Nana plaza, soi cowboy and Patpong (in Bangkok).

If you go to one of those 3 places, its like a meat market like you have never seen before.
A Thai specialty!

Thai food is very hot too.

Yes I am a Muslim. I know that I was very careful to eat in Muslim resturants, there are many in Hainan. Plus Xinjiang food is mostly Muslim and there are some very good restaurants there. One should never use books when they are alone, rather get off at random stations for the first half and enjoy the real culture and environment. Tourist places are wonderful but they do not give you the real feel of the city nor of the local people.

But life there is so unique, with everyone walking with purpose, One should experience that
View in Sanya is pretty good, especially in Yalong bay..
But hotels are also super expensive in Yalong bay...
150-500 USD per night, not cheap for majority Chinese..
The views are worth it. and you can always rent a car and roam the whole of Sanya and surrounding areas, like the city of Boao where the Boao forum is every year and go to see Luobi caves. Trains are wonderful and cheap but the fun of driving in the fresh air is worth it and you save a lot on hotels and taxis.

Bro, I really admire and am really impressed with your internationalism ! I like that alot about you. :)

In my city, Wuhan, central China, new apartments $1200/m2 on average. My apartment was $150/m2 in 2000, but now I could easily sell this old one for $2500/m2. In suburb, prices in Wuhan are similar to suburban Hanoi, but once connected to Metro, it will be increased to downtown price. These prices are increasing crazily!

Then we're no surprised that most of billionaires come from real estate agents.
It's worse for developing nations.

High price house is not something we proud of, except we are in real estate business.

Am I the only one here think that Thai is not so spicy to me at all?:p:

Crazy hot, I stay away from that like the plague, I can't handle hot food, we don't have anything hot in Spanish food.

LOL! Really? And i always thought los hispanoles gustan la comidas picante y caliente.... ;) ;)

What's the reason for them not to come ?

In fact if the relation is not that bad between China and Vietnam, Vietnam has the chance to be a popular touring place for Chinese.
More close to China, less expensive, similar culture..
