Today, China's economy is FOUR times bigger than the Indian economy, with commensurate military spending.

The gap has increased exponentially. And every day that goes by, the gap increases more.

back then both of our economies were socialist inspired we with License Raj following protectionism and all that etc you made economic reforms we made economic reforms both of our economies are the 2 fastest growing the world

We dont have to explain to you everytime ! Our leaders were sleeping at the wheel ! Its only in 1991 N Rao and his Govt started opening our economy ! Our economy is still not open completely ! Whereas China's is ! If we start in that direction our economy will be on a rocket ! There is still vast untapped potential . I guess China has already tried all those options ! At times democracy can be a stregth but also a weakness !
