I pay $12 CAD for a meal in Canada, most people can afford to. Just because everything is cheap in Vietnam doesn't mean you guys are better. You really need to educate yourself instead of trolling in pdf.

I pay 2.5 euro for my bread in the morning here in germany. and of course most germans can affort the price.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Transport is seeking approval to waive visa requirements for citizens of France, Germany, the UK, Spain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, India and Canada in order to draw more visitors, reports Thanh Nien.

A Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) survey found that Western European visitors often spend more money and stay longer compared to others, while Australian and Kiwi visitors often visit during traditional low seasons.

Vietnam currently allows visa exemptions for 17 countries:

• Citizens of Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Kyrgyzstan get a visa-free stay of up to 30 days.
• Citizens of the Philippines get 21 days.
• Citizens of Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Japan, and South Korea get 15 days.
• Citizens of Brunei and Myanmar for 14 days.

Since international tourists often spend between US$1,200-1,500 per trip, according to VNAT, Vietnamese authorities are hoping to replicate the success Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia found after issuing visa waivers.

Glad to know that Vietnam has allowed a visa waving for Japanese citizens!

In Vietnam we don't have an habitat to take brekfast with "goi cuon" in morning, but in smal pub we can order it. with 4 $, 80 K VND the dish should be like this.

Looks delicious. That is super cheap! It is $6 for four rolls where I usually get mine....

You pay $6 for 4 rolls? That's overpriced! The local pho resto I go to in Cherry Hill, NJ serves it for only $3.50. A large bowl of Pho Tai is only $8, too.
