Vietnam communist boss visits Russia amid tension between the bear and the west

Vietnamese communist party secretary general Nguyen Phu Trong is currently paying a visit to Russia. The visit is expected to deepen the bilateral ties in all grounds between the two traditional patrons. To some extent, it shows the solidarity of Vietnam toward her old friend -Russia amid the recent trouble the latter get with the West.
Trong, who is a Soviet-trained Marxist scholar, is also widely seen at home as a conservative figure and a wholehearted socialist.

Its up to u, I dont care. It took 500 years for VN to conquer Champa-Khmer, so, we can wait for another 500 years to help sub-Mekong people understand why we need a solidarity sub-Mekong region.

They think very highly of themselves, even when they offer port to Russia, Russia does not want it, Russian will always take neutral stance on all matter SCS, just like we do in Ukraine as agreed in secret. Vietnam's future is like a chip on big boys' poker table, nothing more.

just saying we need a more realistic approach. the economy of russia today stands under enormous pressure. the ruble collapses, economy heads to recession, and forex sinks rapidly. no surprise it needs money, investments and friendship from china. it is a special period at the moment.

Had the Chinese and Russians not abandoned this folly, then they will have all been way more poorer today than otherwise, and obviously Vietnam will have been in an even more worse situation, since VCP seems to follow these two country's policies.

True, the incompetent Vietnamese government are a bunch of corrupted farmers. They were lucky enough to be in power today but still don't know how to use their brain yet.
